Designed by award winning architect Clint Miller, this North Scottsdale property has been featured in Phoenix Home and Garden's 30th Anniversary edition (January 2010). The home was chosen for its authenticity to the Arizona Desert. Built in 2005 the property is an example of territorial architecture featuring a central courtyard as well as two additional garden courtyards. Clint's loyalty to adobe's structure is seen in his use of arches throughout. The chimneys and parapets add interesting vertical elements to the buildings. The parapets were capped using Chocolate Flagstone from Northern Arizona and the scuppers were crafted of copper to stay consistent with the home's Arizona heritage.

The contrast of the rustic cement planter pot with delicate Cymbidium and Dendrobium Orchids with mini eggplant-hued Phalaenopsis creates a playful, dancing effect in this lovely, illuminated design. Dancing Orchids can be a special expression of your love and affection for Mother’s Day, an anniversary or birthday.

Mass Table, the table designed by Alain Gilles to celebrate Bonaldo's eightieth anniversary, marks a break with the traditional archetype of the table consisting of a solid and imposing base. Indeed, in this case, the base becomes a light-weight component, while the wooden table top takes up more visual space. Thus, the end result is a table with a strong yet gentle personality, which remains rooted to traditions while at the same time pleasing a more modern taste.

Taylored Architecture was asked to design a "tiny house" or "love shack" for a client on Grindstone Island as a surprise gift for she and her husband's 20th wedding anniversary. The client desired a contemporary aesthetic with efficient spaces. The standing seam roof wraps down the back exterior wall of the structure to add to the contemporary aesthetic. Large windows and doors bring the outside in. Interior finishes include plywood walls, a mix of extraordinary tiles, and brushed stainless steel fixtures. This has been a fun project for very fun clients. This project is nearing completion. Project built by Absolute Construction. Photo by Eric Salsbery.

This table was made for a 25th Wedding Anniversary gift. There are semi-precious stones, including Rhodonite, several kinds of Jasper, Lapis, and Malachite. The middle three rows are 4" squares, and the outer tiles are 3" squares. The marble pieces were collected by the client over a period of about three decades.
The table lamp is also made of marble, including the lamp shade, which is made from 1/16" sheets of Carrara White Marble.
Than you to Bill Hunt Woodworking for the beautiful cabinet.

This venerable country club recently celebrated it's 100th anniversary. For over a decade, LCDG has master planned, designed, and overseen construction of countless facility improvements, shepherding the aging facility into the 21st century.
Included were the addition of the tennis pro shop, fitness center, and several new outdoor gathering spaces. The creation of the Player's Lounge provided a popular gathering place for members to hang out, watch sports, and have light meals and refreshments. Club comfort and safety have also been enhanced with new fire protection, mechanical and electrical systems. Accessibility for the disabled on this challenging hillside property has also been achieved.
