A properly insulated property will prevent the flow of heat from the property or into the property because heat tends to naturally flow into cooler areas. We are committed to helping both residential and commercial building owners in Los Angeles achieve excellent insulation for their properties.

Along with her home feeling too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer, Margaret D. of Dearborn, MI was also concerned with the overall safety and health of her home. Not only did our Comprehensive Home Energy Audit find a gas leak, but we were also able to identify areas of the home that needed more insulation and air sealing. Once we were done with the project, Margaret and her family were breathing easier (literally and figuratively), while enjoying the luxury of a more comfortable home.

We recently helped a family improve the comfort of their upstairs bedrooms. The Plymouth Township family could feel the temperature change as they walked up the stairs to the 2nd floor. It was so hot in the summer that they were having trouble sleeping at night. During our Comprehensive Home Energy Audit we found that their attic insulation was damaged and their home had several air leaks that allowed the hot attic air to push into the house. Our skilled install team removed the damaged attic insulation, air sealed the attic floor and added blown cellulose insulation to ENERGY STAR standards. We also sealed all of the accessible joints and seams in the duct work to prevent the cool air from leaking out of the ducts before it could reach bedrooms upstairs. They are now enjoying even temperatures between the 1st and 2nd floor, and a more comfortable night’s sleep. Contact Ecotelligent Homes today to schedule your Home Energy Audit to discover how we can improve your comfort and help you get a good nights sleep this summer.

Solar systems are at an all time low and the state and federal governments are offering a number of programs to help you install solar systems on your house. Once the solar systems are installed, you’ll will not only save a lot of money from the hefty electric bills in Los Angeles but your home’s value will also increase.

Inspiration for a large contemporary formal and open concept bamboo floor living room remodel in New York with beige walls, a standard fireplace, a stone fireplace and no tv

Tucked into the hillsides of Marin, the environment played a predominant role in defining the contemporary yet exotic style of this home. In the master bedroom, a fireplace adds a cozy design element, while an inconspicuous home theater system can be elegantly tucked away when not in use. In the master bathroom, pebbled stone tile adorn the walls of the double shower that overlooks the hillsides of Marin. A guest bathroom was designed to compliment the eclectic aesthetic of the home. While in the center of the residence, a spiral acrylic staircase climbs 3 floors acting as a consistent element, tying together the varied yet complementary styles.
