Vistafolia artificial green walls can be placed virtually anywhere. They are equally at home either indoor or outdoor and, while installations in outdoor areas are a very popular choice, they can go in pretty much any room of the house as well, giving you your own maintenance-free indoor garden. The owner of this property wanted to do something a little bit different. She had seen our work in various places before but wondered whether it would be suited to a bathroom refurbishment. The answer – why not? The unusual shapes of the areas that the client was looking to cover proved not to be too difficult for our experienced design team who absolutely love a challenge and a chance to work on a project that is a bit different.

Inspiration for a farmhouse kitchen remodel in Other

Here in this basement courtyard, a great example of green walls in the context of a complete garden revamp. The client had a rather dull, lifeless, and dark space and wanted to inject some color into the courtyard. The client wanted grey tones to be the overall theme of the garden, but also realised the need to counterbalance this with bursts of color, and what better way than to incorporate some stunning greenery. However, the limited space in the courtyard minimized the available space for planting and thus, a vertical option was sought. This would have the added benefit of breaking up the timber screening which could have made the garden look rather enclosed on its own. But a vertical green wall also presented its own issues. Real plants would require a costly irrigation system and would add a significant amount of weight to the wall. Plus, the height of the walls meant that a living wall may have struggled through a lack of sunlight being allowed in.

A green wall was desired to heighten the mood of paramount luxury. The owners explored various options to incorporate greenery into the space and found Vistafolia to be the perfect, ‘obvious’ solution. The owners found Vistafolia's UV-stable panels to be just the right cladding product for the concrete wall, which is exposed to direct sunlight from 11 am onwards. Temperatures can also soar to above 100 degree Fahrenheit in the summer months, making the rooftop environment inhospitable for real plants. With our maintenance-free and weather-resistant signature panels, they need not worry about plant survival and watering, especially during the peak summer season. The UV-protected panels deliver vibrant green year-round, creating an uplifting atmosphere for guests enjoying the spectacular rooftop views.
