Older home in desirable Phoenix central core neighborhood gets Hall Guest / Family bathroom makeover. New materials and look pays tribute to American and French Industrial vibe influences, European Boutique Hotels and classical old world stone finishing seen throughout public spaces across Europe. The vibe is old world and warm but, the plumbing fixtures & lighting are 2019 new.

The dramatic and functional master bathroom features opulent materials and distinctive details. The spacious walk in shower has body sprays, a large rain head shower, hand held and a view of Long Island Sound. Glass and marble create the glamorous wall above the quartz vanity counter top. Downsizing can be a great way to start fresh. This baby boomer couple gained wonderful new space in their new home. Custom bed, bedding and window treatments set the tone for the relaxing retreat. Drapery panel details: pencil pleat header, greek key trim, embroidered fabric and custom rods with a mercury glass finial.

CLOSE-UP VIEW This master bath makeover starts with bare walls that have been floated out smooth over the sheetrock. Then we hand applied a beautiful custom tinted, soft grey Venetian plaster. After two coats of plaster, the walls were waxed and buffed. This process seals the plaster, leaving a long-lasting finish. The finished product is subtle and undeniably beautiful! I’ve included a close-up view of the finish below.
