Tearing down a wall made a big difference on this project. If you view the before photos you will see we removed a wall that was located in the general area of the stools in this picture. To remove the wall we had to install a large double ply 24 inch LVL to clear the span. We also had to connect another beam to the newly installed beam that supported the Master Bedroom above.

Inspiration for a timeless exterior home remodel in Other

This craftsman style home addressed the views of the Front Range from all the major rooms. The main living spaces—living room, dining room, kitchen and media room, though each well-defined, all flowed together for a highly livable space that can be easily used for entertaining. Ample family living space for the children was provided, that could be used without interfering with entertaining. The exterior finishes—stone, stucco, and concrete roof tiles—reinforced the location and lifestyle of the home.

This expansive veranda, featuring a fireplace and kitchenette, offers breathtaking views of the sparkling lake and inviting firepit. Marvin Ultimate windows in Hampton Sage frame the scene perfectly. A television above the masonry fireplace and a built-in AV system provide entertainment. The charm is further enhanced by cedar trusses and beams, complemented by a cedar-lined ceiling. Infratech Comfort Heaters ensure year-round comfort, while a cable rail system, decorative rafter tails, and masonry flower boxes add thoughtful details to this exquisite outdoor space.
