Garden fresh and seasonal, this lovely bouquet symbolizes everything that one dozen long-stemmed (and most likely imported) red roses are not. This is a fragrant, vivid spring arrangement that evokes curiosity and interest, not to mention romance. Design & photography (c) Debra Prinzing, Slow Flowers LLC

This 1919 bungalow was lovingly taken care of but just needed a few things to make it complete. The owner, an avid gardener wanted someplace to bring in plants during the winter months. This small addition accomplishes many things in one small footprint. This potting room, just off the dining room, doubles as a mudroom. Design by Meriwether Felt, Photos by Susan Gilmore

A purple hyacinth bean vine (Lablab purpureus) drapes one of the gateways. Planted as an annual in Pennsylvania it will grow up to 20’ in a season, producing purple/pink flowers and fabulous purple pods all summer long. The leaves, flowers and pods look beautiful both clambering on the fence and in mixed bouquets.

Just off the main hall from our Baker's Kitchen project was a dark little laundry room that also served as the main entry from the garage. By adding cement tiles, cheerful navy cabinets and a butcher block counter, we transformed the space into a bright laundry room that also provides a warm welcome to the house.

Glamorous Barbara Berry Inspired Living Room.

With square shades on acrylic sconces the pair flank either side of the mirror in their own molded spaces to create this perfect symmetrically balanced focal point wall. All this sets the stage for custom made upholstered chairs a gorgeous iron and glass cocktail table and hand made Tibetan rug....
