This modern townhome in Vaughan received some mid-century modern flair and some really fun wallpaper. The large open concept living room was challenging in terms of creating a successful layout and we addressed it by bringing a large sectional closer to the center of the room rather than anchoring it against walls. Plenty of circulation space for a sideboard with a beautiful vinyl player, a collection of tall architectural prints and an eight foot tall floor lamp bring the eye up a double story living space. Fun wallpaper creates a long feature wall in the living and dining area with a geometric pattern that brings some movement to the room and is also mirrored in the kitchen backsplash and sideboard veneer. We designed a bedroom with the perfect shade of blue that will age nicely with our client’s young son along with a calming study perfect for getting some work done.

Inspiration for a small rustic eat-in kitchen remodel in Toronto with a drop-in sink, flat-panel cabinets, light wood cabinets, white backsplash, stainless steel appliances, an island and white countertops

This contemporary bathroom starts with a neutral pallet of white and gray, and then layers on a deep navy blue which brings in contrast and color. This bathroom brings in lots of natural light, has ample cabinet counter and drawer space, a generous walk-in shower, and lots of hidden storage. The marble hexagon floor inlay brings a geometric elegance to the space.

When this client came to KSI with her kitchen remodel, she emphasized a desire for a timeless space that would match the character of her home while being strategic with storage. Working in a smaller kitchen, we needed to use every inch of the space to maximize functionality while creating an open, lighter feel. It was an exciting challenge to get creative with storage solutions and make sure that every corner had a purpose!

This vaulted living room is part of a modern minimalist home in White Oaks Savannah outside Stillwater, where hand hewn box beams cross the ceiling to bring warmth and texture to a space built around simplicity, light, and indoor-outdoor connection. A white sectional sofa, swivel chairs, and a round wood coffee table sit beneath brass and black chandeliers, while walls of black steel doors open the living room to a pool and patio beyond, blurring the line between inside and out. This kitchen in a wabi-sabi lakeside retreat designed by PKA Architecture and Yond Interiors brings together antique elm box beams, cabinetry, floating shelves, and island paneling for a warm, cohesive palette of natural wood throughout. A suburban home in mid-town Fort Collins gained a lot of curb appeal with colorful perennials and a small water feature. These perennials are low maintenance and drought tolerant and with a small amount of turf, this landscape is very water conservation friendly. The large quantity of perennials used in this landscape creates a big impact in a small space.

This Modern home brings simple symmetry and turns it into California glamour. The heart shaped pool and bright, wide concrete decking lend an air of old Hollywood to this backyard setting.
