The 10 foot ceilings require any detailing at the top of these side panels to be large and bold. The panels were treated to cartridge pleats that end with a 2" carved button that are perfect for the scale of the room.

No Fault recently had the pleasure of completing Tirrill Park Playground Project, or what is affectionately called the “Rawrrr with Colton Playground.” Located in Manchester, Iowa, this park, dedicated to the memory of an area child, Colton Meyer, whose life was sadly cut short, serves as a beautiful memorial. Inlaid dinosaurs and dinosaur footprints give a nod to Colton’s favorite animal. We’re honored to have taken part in this project and are thankful to have had the chance to team up with Boland Recreation for another great playground design. Yakisugi (焼杉) is a traditional Japanese method of wood preservation. Yaki means to heat with fire, and sugi is cypress.[1][2] It is referred to in the West as burnt timber cladding and also known as shou sugi ban (焼杉板) which uses the same kanji characters but an incorrect pronunciation. The ban character means "plank". By slightly charring the surface of the wood without combusting the whole piece, the wood becomes water-proof through the carbonisation and is thus more durable.[3][4] It also protects against insects, as well as making the wood fire retardant.[5] - Wikipedia
