• A unique focal point is the cast iron Fireback on the backsplash behind the range. The Fireback is inset into a carefully cut solid piece of Quartzite and surrounded by a bronze “picture frame” border. Stacked stone adds texture to the backsplash. Countertops are satin Taj Mahal Quartzite with custom cut beveled edge. The look is like marble but is harder and more stain resistant.

The client originally wanted a kitchen makeover and as we progressed further into the project, requested a more significant remodel. In addition to the kitchen and details, we installed about half of the porcelain tile, wood pattern, flooring downstairs. More custom details were added to the project, a new pantry with a countertop used for making coffee and usage of other small appliances, a custom bar area wine rack cabinet and countertops along with a beverage refrigerator, laundry cabinets and folding station with countertop, and a custom banquette in the breakfast area. The Client wanted Shiplap as a backsplash in the kitchen which made for very clean lines and adding to a more open kitchen space. Lighting details were also added in the kitchen (above and under cabinet), pantry, laundry, back entry, and powder room.

Beautiful custom cabinets in a kitchen in Irvine, CA. Our client was looking to replace their kitchen cabinets with new custom built cabinets that would last a lifetime. We built these cabinets as we do all of our projects: with high quality materials and skilled craftsmanship. The craftsman style recessed panel doors are inset into solid maple face frames. Clean finish is important to us, so the face frames are scribed and cut to fit the surrounding walls, eliminating the need for scribe moldings.
