We built this cedar deck with a gable roof in Eureka. We used black aluminum balusters and cedar soffit and fascia to match the existing home.

The stairs case is also wrapped with cedar with Trex composite decking. A low voltage lighting system has been added to the stairs.

We completed this deck in the fall of 2022. After fixing the rot in some of the framing, and reinforcing the deck we installed Cedar decking and railings. The decking and railings are protected with Benjamin Moore Arborcoat - Natural stain. We also installed a bluestone walkway from the driveway to the front door edged with Belgian Blocks

All Weather Decks

AFTER PHOTO: Here is a deck that was unsafe to walk on and couldn't be enjoyed by the customer. After we came in and replaced it, the customer can now look forward to spring and spending some of their hard earned free time on their deck.

Cedar decking is a beautiful and typically lower cost option in terms of decking. We're so proud of the craftsmanship and woodworking we're able to do with these decks.
