Cable raceway was mounted above basement-level baseboard when it was determined that the finished walls and ceiling were not accessible and the homeowner preferred that walls not be opened. This raceway feeds the network jack seen here (among others). Project background: A whole-home re-wire. DemNET Technologies was brought in to remove and recycle old, outdated wiring, and re-wire this home with modern, high speed cable. DemNET also installed a structured wiring center and telecom rack, ran new wires to the outdoor service boxes, installed a HDTV antenna in the attic, and installed 7.1 surround sound in the family room, with a Zone 2 setup in the basement. Midtown East LET THE LIGHT IN Midtown East- Residence This project began with the client’s concerns about moving into a low and dim apartment that had north facing windows with a view of a construction site. We began with the concept of an all-white kitchen to reflect light in back of the apartment and make the apartment feel lighter. The finish of the cabinetry is high gloss white thermafoil against custom polished chrome handles and fixtures. The appliances are seamlessly concealed. The ceiling has been dropped to highlight this area with spot pendants and adjustable recessed lights. Track Lighting is also used through the apartment to allow for adjustable projections. High Gloss Pebble Caesarstone is the finish that is carried throughout the apartment, on the kitchen counters, backsplash, island and on the radiator millwork in both the living and bedroom to reflect the light from the windows. The custom shades double fabric system allow alternating light as well as privacy and their texture create a radiating glow along the ribbon windows. The double door into the bedroom was removed and instead one sliding door was created to allow there to be a wall to mount television screens on both sides. The Bathroom’s East wall subway tile was removed and replace with reflective light blue glass tile and all new polished chrome hardware for the sink and shower body. Millwork is done in a silver walnut.

In this small bathroom we redesigned the layout for a better functioning bathroom, we removed the existing bath tub and installed a larger shower area. The shower walls are Caraway Ironstone cultured marble that included a larger shower caddy and decorative chair rail around the glass block window. 3/8” Clear glass TruFit shower enclosure, 72” tall one swing door and stationary panel. Kohler 60”x36” white shower base and coordinating shower drain. Waypoint 450S in Maple wood with Mocha Glaze stain vanity and built in cabinetry was installed with Giallo Ornamental granite countertops with a white undermount china sink and back/side splashes. A Kichler 3 light bath sconce in Olde Bronze finish and Broan ventilation fan with light was installed in the shower area. White ergo height compact elongated Gerber toilet, Delta shower with handheld combo shower head, Delta widespread two handle faucet, 18” towel bar, robe hook and toilet paper holder in Venetian bronze. The flooring is Emblem 7”x20” tile in Summerwheat brown wood look.
