Middlefork Luxury Home BuildersThis gracious property in the award-winning Blaine school district - and just off the Southport Corridor - marries an old world European design sensibility with contemporary technologies and unique artisan details. With more than 5,200 square feet, the home has four bedrooms and three bathrooms on the second floor, including a luxurious master suite with a private terrace.
The house also boasts a distinct foyer; formal living and dining rooms designed in an open-plan concept; an expansive, eat-in, gourmet kitchen which is open to the first floor great room; lower-level family room; an attached, heated, 2-½ car garage with roof deck; a penthouse den and roof deck; and two additional rooms on the lower level which could be used as bedrooms, home offices or exercise rooms. Amber Hildebrand Landscape ArchitectI highly utilized my rendering program to show the Owner what I envisioned for her yard. She was interested in a contemporary style with an overgrown Mediterranean landscape with perennials and agaves. I planned out a new driveway with an intricate score pattern not shown in this image as well as exposed-face concrete seatwalls and a decomposed granite patio and meandering path along with an uncolored concrete step pad front path and a darker concrete overlay over the porch.

Prime 1 BuildersThis project won in the 2013 Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh Housing Excellence Award for Best Urban Renewal Renovation Project. The glass bowl was made in the glass studio owned by the owner which is adjacent to the residence. The mirror is a repurposed window. The door is repurposed from a boarding house.

Carlton EdwardsThis modern lake house is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The residence overlooks a mountain lake with expansive mountain views beyond. The design ties the home to its surroundings and enhances the ability to experience both home and nature together.
