Love the pendant lighting over the island. The clients wanted a lighter island color in place of the black. I suggested Sherwin Williams Honed Soapstone. The cabinets would look awesome with Sherwin Williams Peppercorn setting off the pendant lighting. The cane backed stools match the Mango wood of the living room end tables.

Muzata cable railings are commendably safe, and despite their lightweight appearance, they have a sturdy construction that provides reliable safety against accidents such as falls. Particularly suitable for homes with small children or pets, they can provide safety without compromising on aesthetics.

This client wanted soft neutral tones. They love the look of Mango wood hence the Mango end tables. The curtains are a light linen and give the space a soft touch.

Muzata's cable railing system meets many of your needs, whether you want to install it as a complete package or use it with your existing stakes, we've got you covered. These systems are more durable than traditional wood or iron railings, reducing the frequency and cost of replacement and maintenance.

Odd and Rod's attic conversion uses a blackened wire rope from Muzata, which is made with a special black smoked process, firmly compiled from a 7x7 stranded structure that is not easy to loosen, not easy to rust, and is used without blocking the view, making the second-story attic viewing sight more transparent. In addition to use with the column, you can also use it for hanging light strings, photos, drying clothes and other purposes.

This is the same room as above from a different angle. The client was also interested in wicker lighting which you see in the chandelier which is also a fan. I love that the blades are not showing!

Our client wanted a unique, modern space that would pay tribute to the industrial history of the original factory building, yet remain an inviting space for entertaining, socialising and cooking.
This project focused on designing an aesthetically pleasing, functional kitchen that complemented the industrial style of the building. The kitchen space needed to be impressive in its own right, without taking away from the main features of the open-plan living area.
Every facet of the kitchen, from the smallest tile to the largest appliance was carefully considered. A combination of creative design and flawless joinery made it possible to use diverse materials such as stainless steel, reclaimed timbers, marble and reflective surfaces alongside integrated state-of-the-art appliances created an urbane, inner-city space suitable for large-scale entertaining or relaxing.

Condos are often a challenge – can’t move water, venting has to remain connected to existing ducting and recessed cans may not be an option. In this project, we had an added challenge – we could not lower the ceiling on the exterior wall due to a continual leak issue that the HOA has put off due to the multi-million-dollar expense.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY:
Work Centers: prep, baking, clean up, message, beverage and entertaining.
Vignette Design: avoid wall to wall cabinets, enhance the work center philosophy
Geometry: create a more exciting and natural flow
ANGLES: the baking center features a Miele wall oven and Liebherr Freezer, the countertop is 36” deep (allowing for an extra deep appliance garage with stainless tambour).
CURVES: the island, desk and ceiling is curved to create a more natural flow. A raised drink counter in Sapele allows for “bellying up to the bar”
CIRCLES: the 60” table (seating for 6) is supported by a steel plate and a custom column (used also to support the end of the curved desk – not shown)
ISLAND CHALLENGE: To install recessed cans and connect to the existing ducting – we dropped the ceiling 6”. The dropped ceiling curves at the end of the island to the existing ceiling height at the pantry/desk area of the kitchen. The stainless steel column at the end of the island is an electrical chase (the ceiling is concrete, which we were not allowed to puncture) for the island
