If you’re on the prowl for some seriously salacious wallpaper that celebrates eroticism, masculinity and sexual liberation, then Tom of Finland is for you! A collaboration two years in the works, this carnal creation comprises two designs—TAME and XXX—both conceived by Michael Reynolds, Hoffman Creative and the Tom of Finland Foundation. A bold and ballsy tribute to the dynamic graphite and pencil drawings of Touko Laaksonen (aka Tom of Finland), the famed renegade Finnish artist known for his stylized homoerotic art and its profound effect on late twentieth century gay culture and fetish lifestyle. From cops, cowboys and bikers, to sailors, lumberjacks and leather men — there’s a little something (and then some) for everyone. That-a-boy! Michael Reynolds is a New York-based creative director, curator, editorial stylist, book editor and design consultant. He is the US Editor of Wallpaper* Magazine and Editor at Large for Architectural Digest USA. His first book, TOM HOUSE – Tom of Finland in Los Angeles, is available through Rizzoli Publications. Eric Hoffman founded Hoffman Creative a decade ago in New York, a firm creating brand identities for a range of clients with an ethos rooted in psychology and emotional intelligence. Tom of Finland Foundation maintains the archive and former Los Angeles home of the 20th-century artist, known for his graphic, highly stylized illustrations. Dedicated to protecting and preserving erotic art and erotic arts education, the foundation continues to advocate the artist’s significant influence on gay and LGBT culture.

Explore the elegance of this Architectural Digest-featured bathroom in a Nashville home, thoughtfully designed by award-winning designers Lauren Bradshaw and Sarah Sherman Samuel. Centered around the Ascension line freestanding natural copper clawfoot bathtub from Re's Parish Collection, inspired by the picturesque landscapes of Louisiana, this bathroom is a testament to luxury and design excellence. The bathtub is paired with high-end Delta Victorian brass tub fixtures, enhancing its allure. Adjacent to the tub, the space features a sophisticated Kingston brass vanity sink atop a Mason porcelain console, contributing to the room's refined contemporary aesthetic. Enhancing the functionality and style, custom recessed cabinetry is seamlessly integrated into the walls, providing streamlined storage solutions without compromising the sleek design. The flooring and baseboards are adorned with custom sheet tiles from Fire Clay Tile, specifically the Akoya and Halite designs, which bring an artisanal and eco-conscious touch to the space. These tiles not only add a layer of luxury but also resonate with the room's modern and artistic vibe. The walls and ceiling boast a unique faux finish paint application, complementing the custom tile work and adding depth to the room's overall ambiance. This bathroom renovation showcases the harmonious blend of modern luxury and sustainable design, making it a highlight of Nashville's residential architecture and a distinguished project on Houzz. This 2400 sq. ft. home rests at the very beginning of the high mesa just outside of Taos. To the east, the Taos valley is green and verdant fed by rivers and streams that run down from the mountains, and to the west the high sagebrush mesa stretches off to the distant Brazos range. The house is sited to capture the high mountains to the northeast through the floor to ceiling height corner window off the kitchen/dining room. The main feature of this house is the central Atrium which is an 18 foot adobe octagon topped with a skylight to form an indoor courtyard complete with a fountain. Off of this central space are two offset squares, one to the east and one to the west. The bedrooms and mechanical room are on the west side and the kitchen, dining, living room and an office are on the east side. The house is a straw bale/adobe hybrid, has custom hand dyed plaster throughout with Talavera Tile in the public spaces and Saltillo Tile in the bedrooms. There is a large kiva fireplace in the living room, and a smaller one occupies a corner in the Master Bedroom. The Master Bathroom is finished in white marble tile. The separate garage is connected to the house with a triangular, arched breezeway with a copper ceiling.
