This is a Kitchen Remodel we did on an existing home that another builder had initially built. Before the remodel you can see the kitchen was very closed off and lacking storage. After we remodeled the kitchen not only was the kitchen opened up but we custom made counters, additional cabinetry, bead board ceilings, subway tile, new stainless sink, wired for recessed lighting, painted as well as created a coffee bar and more. We would love to discuss your remodel/addition/or new build of your project. We are committed to Build Beautiful. Thanks for your Consideration. -Joel & Megan Ray.

This customer made the very smart choice of enjoying their remodeling efforts a few years before selling it. In addition to the kitchen being outdated, it also was lacking in storage and also a feeling of being a little "closed in". Our solution was to remove all of the upper soffits/fur-downs to be replaced with taller upper cabinets, gaining considerably more storage. Additionally, we removed the upper bar on the peninsula countertop opening the room to the living room, bringing more light and a profound feeling of openness and inclusivity!

What is now the master suite used to be a 1970's living room addition that was built 2' lower than the rest of the house. This split-level design required special considerations for steps and door swings, which added renovation challenges in an already tight area. Dexter worked closely with the owner to find this solution which raised the floor and transferred valuable footage from the entryway into the living spaces. Dexter Builders and Dexter Block worked together to enlarge the addition, which gained enough space for the walk-in closet.

Sliding barn doors are gaining popularity in designs across the nation. Saving space and adding style, Liberty barn doors are a great consideration for any room.

We had a few problems to solve during the gut remodel of this Midcentury kitchen. First, in order to put the dishwasher next to the sink, we had to move the peninsula to the left a bit. Then we hid the microwave by placing it under the peninsula--no one needs to see a big microwave on the counter! We chose a subtle light fixture with black accents to balance the volume of the larger fixture in the dining room, and to match with the faucet. We kept the pulls modern and simple.
