It is such a pleasure to be able to continue the process of landscape lighting for my clients who had selected us to design and install the landscaping. The strategic placement of the landscaping elements and focal plants are awaiting the brightness of light to continue to shine all 8 seasons four season both day and night. This Landscape Lighting project was such a gratifying and rewarding experience for the client and the neighbors. Such a success when your friends and neighbors welcome outdoor lighting as a great way to tie the neighborhood in at night.

When our clients approached us about remodeling their home, their goal was clear: transform a traditionally styled interior into a clean-lined, contemporary space that truly reflected who they are today. The home originally featured dark wood floors, heavy moldings, and glazed cabinetry—hallmarks of a more traditional design. Our mission was to reimagine it entirely with modern sensibility, warmth, and purpose. One of the most rewarding aspects of this project was creating harmony throughout the home—from the kitchen to the family room, dining area, office, and even a new basement kitchen. We selected cabinetry finishes and styles that tied the spaces together while allowing each room to maintain its own personality.

What resulted were lush, deeply personal spaces genuinely reflecting the family who dwells in them. In many ways, this project is ongoing, as the client has worked with Father Nature for several years and continues to do so. During the process, a strong bond has grown between the homeowner and designer, making each additional project even more rewarding for the designer and life-enhancing for the family. From meandering paths, to a landscaped understory, to new patios featuring vintage found objects from around the world, the client-designer collaboration yields spectacular and sometimes surprising results. Such as the the custom-designed table in the dining area; the fountain, which was made in France by Italian craftsmen; and the edible terrace garden featuring herbs, berries, apples, and more. Wonder what they will create next?

Inspiration for a rustic deck remodel in Portland

The cooking wall from a complete Yorba Linda kitchen remodel. Coastline Builders Group's cabinet shop built the sculpted hood surround and the glass-front corner cabinets flanking it, and our stone fabricator ran the quartzite backsplash full height behind the range so the slab veining reads as one continuous panel. Unlacquered brass hardware and Sherwin-Williams Accessible Beige cabinetry carry the palette through. Full-height slab work rewards planning — outlet placement, hood venting, and seam location all have to be resolved before the stone is cut.
