There is a mix of high and low all throughout the Novogratzes' home, especially in the kids' rooms. Finding pieces that strike a balance between value and style is a key component to the success of the space. With vast floor space to play, Major has the freedom he needs to explore and exercise his creativity. Inexpensive rugs mean less worrying and more experimenting and learning. The couple also believes in storage that is easy for little ones to navigate, like the red IKEA PS locker cabinet. By giving the kids an easy means of picking up, they are more likely to enjoy tidiness. Lagoon-side property in the Bel Marin Keys, Novato, CA. Entertaining and enjoying the views were a primary design goal for this project along with replacing the lawn with CA native and low water plants and a total renovation. The project includes a large camaru deck with built-in seating. The concrete steps and pavers lead down to the water's edge. I included a sunken patio on one side and a beautiful Buddha statue on the other, surrounded by succulents and other low-water, contemporary plantings. Inspiration for a small rustic gender-neutral concrete floor playroom remodel in Dallas

The kitchen, entry, and living room is all contained at the front of the house facing the ocean. The custom painted (Benjamin Moore White Dove) shaker cabinets were built and finished in our shop. A bench seat with storage was integrated into the island. Pine was used to cover the entire cathedral ceiling. A White Oak wide plank engineered floor was installed throughout the home. This open living and kitchen view in the Hudson Bayou contemporary spec home was staged by iStage Homes to highlight the seamless flow between gathering spaces. A modern sectional with bright accent pillows anchors the living area, while the kitchen island with bar seating creates a natural focal point for entertaining. The staging emphasizes light, scale, and functionality—helping buyers envision comfortable modern living in this newly built Sarasota home.

The front areas of this landscape were transformed from a tired, water thirsty lawn into a contemporary setting with dramatic concrete pavers leading to the home's entrance with FX Luminaire low voltage pathway lighting. New driveway constructed with large concrete slabs and small black pebbles set in resin. Plants for sun and part shade complete this project. Jennifer goes on to explain, "When I decorate my home I don't feel I have a style. I believe what ever you put in your home is what you should love, and that way it creates its own style ... I've been collecting for so long that a lot of my treasures have come together because I love them and eventually it will all make sense. I don't like one 'way'; that's why all my rooms are different." The dining table was found in an old flower shop. Originally it was a worktable with very tall legs, so Raymond and Jennifer cut them down to modify it for its current use. The chairs received Jennifer's creative touch as well. Purchased at a garage sale for $1 each, they are originally from an ice cream parlor in the basement of the historical Higbee's Company department store.
