Traditional cabinetry with a timeless quality The solid maple wood cabinets feature classic in-frame shaker style doors with a cockbead edge, and the solid oak dovetailed drawers extend fully on concealed soft closing runners. We customised the cabinets to house our clients’ freestanding appliances, which are easier to replace and maintain than more expensive integrated ones.The upper corner cabinet artfully conceals an unsightly central heating boiler while the upper open shelving makes it easy to access items such as folded linens and adds character to the laundry room. Features designed for a luxury utility room Tongue and V groove (TGV) beaded cladding made from sustainable timber has been fitted vertically to provide a classic panelled finish. Painted wall panelling protects your walls, looks attractive and can be easily cleaned. The deep French farmhouse sink in white porcelain with high quality lever style mixer tap adds a touch of rustic charm to the room. The worktops are also in white. Made from premium Carrera White quartz with a honed finish. This is a soft sheen with a more natural appearance. Every detail has been thoughtfully planned with even the black coated solid brass handles matching the electrical sockets and switches.

This luxury fitted mudroom, utility and cloakroom was installed for our clients who wanted to combine highly practical facilities with a cohesive design scheme that expressed their artistic aesthetic. What could have been a bland, utilitarian space has been transformed with dark walnut wood, decorative interest and exceptional craftmanship. The suite of bespoke built-in cabinets has created a beautifully organised, multipurpose free-flowing space. Flawlessly spray finished in Inchyra Blue by Farrow & Ball, the dark blue green grey is a dramatic colour which, along with the walnut wood and striking artworks, makes a bold and confident impression. For this project, the walnut veneers have a natural oiled finish to bring out the beauty of the grain. The reeded walnut veneer wall panel behind the built-in bench adds stunning texture and visual interest to the joinery. Shaker-style doors with fretwork panels Made to measure fretwork doors and panels like these conceal unsightly features while also providing ventilation. A well-aired mudroom or boot room is vital to ensure outerwear dries quickly and doesn’t become musty. This is especially important for the floor to ceiling shoe cupboard we built here as it helps to keep the footwear fresh. The decorative fretwork pattern also adds visual interest and makes the room feel less enclosed. Integrated LED lighting installed throughout the joinery enhancing safety, brightness and enjoyment to the space. Custom-made vanity unit This large, sleek handle-free vanity unit provides a generous amount of storage space with a smart interior arrangement with customised waste management. The soft-closing drawers are operated by a smooth, silent, push to open mechanism. The floating design allows for LED lighting underneath the cabinet. Dog shower and storage The purpose-built indoor dog shower is great for hosing down and drying off the dogs. It doubles up as somewhere to wash muddy wellies and golf clubs too. Bespoke shelving and hooks for all the dog paraphernalia keeps the pet zone well-organised and tidy. All in all, the result is a cloakroom which combines highly functional mudroom, utility and cloakroom facilities in an immensely stylish space. It’s immensely practical yet incredibly stylish with a strong focus on aesthetics and design.

Completed in 2018, this Westlake Hills duplex, designed by Alterstudio Architects, underwent a dramatic transformation by mixing light & airy with dark & moody design. The goal of the project was to create a more intimate environment using a more saturated and dramatic palette. Additionally, it draws from warmer wood tones such as walnut alongside luxurious textures, particularly in navy, dark grey, and emerald green. The end result is an elegant, timeless, and comfortable space conducive to cozying up with a book at the end of a long day.

This bathroom was carefully thought-out for great function and design for 2 young girls. We completely gutted the bathroom and made something that they both could grow in to. Using soft blue concrete Moroccan tiles on the floor and contrasted it with a dark blue vanity against a white palette creates a soft feminine aesthetic. The white finishes with chrome fixtures keep this design timeless.

This bespoke alcove drinks cabinet and display shelves were commissioned for a client’s residence in Esher, Surrey. Expertly handcrafted, the alcove units are a fine example of the high end, fitted furniture we create. Bespoke cabinets with solid wood frames as shown in this room are always a hallmark of quality. The two double lower lefthand side cupboards have been specifically designed to store our client’s whisky bottles and glassware. The impressive collection is displayed behind beautifully glazed doors, with the interior backlit and operated by a built-in sensor. The righthand side made to measure cabinet features solid wood doors with a flat panel instead of glass. Glazed doors showcase items and allow you to see what’s inside without opening, while solid doors offer a cleaner look with more privacy, allowing you to organised items you don’t want on display. Overall, the design of the alcove cupboards and shelves has a timeless composition that will allow for flexibility in the years to come.
