This basket weave marble floor was in the entry way of the house in Chatham NJ. First we leveled and flattened the marble so all the little tiles were perfectly flat and level. This is called grinding to produce a grind in place floor. This means that all the tiles are level and there are no lips and dips from uneven tile edges. Afterward we diamond honed the marble to remove all scratches and marks. Finally we powder polished the marble to a beautiful shine with clarity and clear reflection. You can see the reflection of the trees from outside. What a tremendous difference from the marble beforehand.

This gorgeous wide plank antique Oak is our most requested floor! With dramatic widths ranging from 6 to 12 inches (14 inches in some cases), you can easily bring an old-world charm into your home. This product comes to you completely pre-finished and ready to install. We start by hand sanding the surface, beveling the edges ever so slightly, and being careful to preserve the historical integrity of the planks. Typically, about 80% of your flooring will be "Smooth" with the remaining 20% having a slight texture from the original saw kerfs. This material will also have nail holes, knots, and checks which only adds to the unique character. Next, we apply Waterlox, a tung oil based sealant with or without stain added. Finally, 3 coats of Vermont Polywhey finish are added with a hand buffing between coats. The result is a luxurious satiny finish that you can only get from Historic Flooring! This close up image shows off our hand-carved and hand-painted Medieval Floral Tiles in the color combination Helsinki. These tiles are part of a kitchen backsplash and are directly above the stove.

This project shows the remodel of a master bathroom with before and after pictures of the project. 32" x 16" tile was used on the walls and 32 x 8" tile on the floor. The accent and shower pan tile is flat pebble stones. The faucets are Delta.

Master Bathroom features a Japanese soaker tub, enlarged shower with 4 1/2" x 12" white subway tile on walls, niche and celling., dark gray 2" x 2" shower floor tile with Schluter tiled drain, floor to ceiling shower glass, and quartz waterfall knee wall cap with integrated seat and curb cap. Floor has dark gray 12" x 24" tile on Schluter heated floor and same tile on tub wall surround with wall niche. Shower, tub and vanity plumbing fixtures and accessories are Delta Champagne Bronze. Vanity is custom built with quartz countertop and backsplash, undermount oval sinks, wall mounted faucets, wood framed mirrors and open wall medicine cabinet.

This was a very small master bathroom and we had to do our best to increase the usability of the space. We demoed this bathroom down to the studs and started from scratch creating a traditional classic bathroom with a modern elegance. Budget 15K
