This spectacular home theater features a 149" Stewart FilmScreen UltraMatte 130 Microperf fixed screen. Three rows of deluxe leather seating is by Cinematech. The lighting is particularly cool: 13 wash downlights, fiber optic ceiling lights with dimming, Soffit RGB LED lighting with dimming, step LEDs with dimming, and Column LEDs with dimming, operated through the Control4 Lighting Control system. Inspiration for a transitional kitchen remodel in Cleveland

Across from Hudson River Park, the Classic 7 pre-war apartment had not renovated in over 50 years. The new owners, a young family with two kids, desired to open up the existing closed in spaces while keeping some of the original, classic pre-war details. Dark, dimly-lit corridors and clustered rooms that were a detriment to the brilliant natural light and expansive views the existing apartment inherently possessed, were demolished to create a new open plan for a more functional style of living. Custom charcoal stained white oak herringbone floors were laid throughout the space. The dark blue lacquered kitchen cabinets provide a sharp contrast to the otherwise neutral colored space. A wall unit in the same blue lacquer floats on the wall in the Den.

The master bath was dressed up with a new capiz shell chandelier over the tub, custom drapes with a patterned black and gold drapery trim and a remote controlled woven window shade. The bathroom was further enhanced with antique gold plumbing fixtures and cabinet hardware, which contrast beautifully against the dark cabinets. Custom mirror frames were added to fill the space over the vanity, while black and gold wall sconces add a touch of sophistication.

This stunning master suite is part of a whole house design and renovation project by Haven Design and Construction. The master bath features a 22' cupola with a breathtaking shell chandelier, a freestanding tub, a gold and marble mosaic accent wall behind the tub, a curved walk in shower, his and hers vanities with a drop down seated vanity area for her, complete with hairdryer pullouts and a lucite vanity bench.

The garden window allows more light to pass through and provides more free movement in the shower without adding square footage. SILVER LINING A city retreat in shades of silver and stone. DESIGN DESCRIPTION High above the city, this condo is a calm retreat dressed in dove grey, ivory and gleaming silver. In the living room, a charcoal velvet sofa sits beneath a textural framed artwork, paired with an acrylic-and-glass coffee table that keeps the space feeling open and airy. A tufted wingback with nailhead trim, a silver-leaf stump table and frosted glass sconces add warmth and dimension. The dining area gathers cream upholstered chairs around a glass table beneath a striking multi-arm rod chandelier, steps from a sleek white kitchen with black glass backsplash. In the bedroom, a tall upholstered headboard, a plush fur throw and delicate butterfly art create a soft, restful mood. The bathroom is a jewel box of onyx-look tile, with a cut-crystal vessel sink, a lacquered black vanity and nickel fretwork mirrors. Calm, luminous and beautifully considered, it is a true urban sanctuary.
