Trendy medium tone wood floor great room photo in Houston

Sometimes the simplest things can be some of the most challenging. We built the base and top of this out of solid white oak. The shape seems simple enough but the way this is built required 48 different sides to line up nicely on the pedestal with floating mortise and tenon joinery to support it. All that on compound angles that are tapered. The top is connected and supported via steel c channels that are recessed into the table top. This has the added benefit of keeping the table top flat on over the large cantilever. A lot of math and planning but the end result was so amazing to see come together. And the space that it sat in was such a wonderful backdrop. We couldn't be happier with it. As with all of our pieces, this custom dining table was hand made in San Diego, CA.

Cape Cod; Dennis, MA This open-concept living and dining area features a bright and inviting Cape Cod aesthetic, creating a perfect space for both relaxation and entertaining. The living room is anchored by two tufted yellow armchairs covered in a sunbrella fabric with navy piping, which provide a vibrant pop of color. The chairs are paired with a patterned upholstered ottoman and a round coffee table with a mirrored top, creating a cozy and stylish seating arrangement. The fireplace, framed by a classic white mantel, features a herringbone-patterned firebox and a television mounted above, blending traditional charm with modern media needs. A large, patterned area rug in shades of red, blue, and cream defines the living space and adds warmth to the hardwood floors. In the adjacent dining area, a large farmhouse-style table is surrounded by classic black Windsor chairs, creating a striking contrast with the light-colored walls and the long window bank that brightens the entire space.
