When presented with the overall layout of the kitchen, this dining space called out for more interest than just your standard table. We chose to make a statement with a custom three-sided seated banquette. Completed in early 2020, this family gathering space is complete with storage beneath and electrical charging stations on each end. Underneath three large window walls, our built-in banquette and custom table provide a comfortable, intimate dining nook for the family and a few guests while the stunning oversized chandelier ties in nicely with the other brass accents in the kitchen. The thin black window mullions offer a sharp, clean contrast to the crisp white walls and coordinate well with the dark banquette, sprayed to match the dark charcoal doors in the home. The finishing touch is our faux distressed leather cushions, topped with a variety of pillows in shapes and cozy fabrics. We love that this family hangs out here in every season!

A versatile and elegant piece for your home. This Pacific Green design has its origins in the classic club chair. The distinctive upholstery pattern of the Navajo chair echoes the hand-stitching of traditional American fur coats. Unshorn bovine hides are sourced from Brazil and combine natural colours of tan, yellow, chocolate and grey. Its ribbed back design replicates the canoe building techniques of the Native American Nations where bark skins were stretched over and lashed to wooden frames. Andrew also decided to purchase an original oil painting, using our remote guidance and leg work, visiting local artist Tim Robinson’s studio and selecting a fabulous Seattle waterscape for placement above the living room sofa. The clients wanted to maintain a moderate budget so mass-market furnishings were combined with custom pieces. The sofa, lounge chair and smaller tables are from Room & Board. They are combined with a special-order occasional chair with distinctive seaming of the fabric. The rug is from Restoration Hardware. A soffit was built over the sliding glass doors for the Luminette shades and side hanging drapery panels fill in the remainder of the awkward jog in the corner of the room Anne Gummerson

To the left of the sofa sits a beautiful Wesley Hall Settee finished in a distressed gray wood finish with linen fabric that is a printed floral with gray and teal and pale yellow. The French seams add to the uniqueness of the piece. The lumbar pillow is a small gray and cream animal print that adds a little excitement. The other accent tables in the room have an antiqued gold finish that coordinate adding a pop of freshness into the room. The accessories are of crystal and Gold leaf add distinction the cocktail table. A really fun room
