We hired Chanie for a large renovation project of our 1897 Denver Square home. This involved a total gut and redesign of the kitchen and a first-floor addition for laundry facilities, storage closet and cabinets and ¾ bathroom. During this process Chanie was innovative, a problem solver, always available for discussions and was extremely easy to work with. She coordinated the construction crew, assisted in the selection of flooring, fixtures, appliances and decorating options. As a consummate professional, her enthusiasm and passion was contagious and working with her was a complete joy. As a result our home has been transformed into an incredible updated living space. We highly recommend her services and will utilize her for our future projects.

We contacted Chanie to help us with our mish-mash of '90's furniture and freshen up the spaces with new ideas. She immediately set to work and had ideas that we had never considered, but immediately fell in love with. The Contractors were superb! We are close to finishing our 1st stage of the project and already looking forward to having her vision complete the spaces. Chanie is the best! I've been working with her for about a year and a half on two ongoing projects, an exterior remodel and an interior furnishing project. The best thing about Chanie is that she's amazing at truly understanding what's important to her clients and internalizing their personal taste. Not to mention, she's a delight to work with. Her enthusiasm is infectious! It's not just me--every time that I talk to a subcontractor or a gallery owner or a mover that has worked with her they say, "Oh, you're working with Chanie? I was so impressed with her energy, creativity and fresh perspectives that I asked her to help me re-design an entire floor of my professional office building. Chanie knows and understands construction, design and what will, and will not work. I was always amazed at her depth of knowledge, her energy and her flow of new ideas. Then I realized, after all of the construction and design people we have known and worked with in the Denver area, she was easily the closest thing anyone could ever find to match Chip and Joanna Gaines (Fixer-upper). Chanie is the reason I love our new home! I depended (and still do) on her for all aspects of interior design and construction management. The depth and breadth of her work is astonishing. She helped me pick interior and exterior paint colors; lighting; window coverings; rugs; furniture; tile; and carpet. I am not exaggerating when I say she "gets me." She is intuitive, working with my style and taste, integrating her exquisite vision and talent to ensure a harmonious and functional space that truly does "speak to my soul" (and my husband's)! She knows the business and works with quality manufacturers, design stores, and subs/installers that appreciate her professionalism and who enjoy working with her. I appreciate her resources and have never been disappointed with a job or purchase. Quality control is important to her, and she is my advocate on each project. Lastly, Chanie is dependable and responsive. I have never had to wait on her. She returns calls and emails promptly and makes herself available as though her world revolves around ME! She is honest, trust-worthy, and an absolute joy to work with. There is no design problem she can't solve. My husband and I give Chanie our highest recommendation!

Working on a very tight budget, Chanie added charm and style to my home with her ability to set the mood of a room by adding color and visual interest. What is remarkable is that the majority of her transformation of my home was done by rearranging existing furniture and decor. Her energy and enthusiasm made working with her a fabulous experience!

Chanie is very talented, enthusiastic and bubbly. I had never worked with an interior designer before and didn't know what to expect. My time was limited so she made sure she understood my tastes and then limited the choices based on my style and budget. We went to designer show rooms to select sinks, tiles, light fixtures, went to a quarry to pick out quartz for countertop, met with drapery fabicators, worked with contractors. I didn't really think about how it would all come together. One of the smallest rooms of the project was the main floor bathroom (1940's Tudor). I walked in after it was done - I was moved - how everything pulled together so beautifully, to scale, to my tastes - each piece individually - I didn't see it - but all together it made sense - it was just lovely. I highly recommend Chanie.

I highly recommend the design services of Chanie Wood. Chanie decorated the main floor of our home. She paid meticulous attention to budget. She listened closely to our goals and style preferences but was also able to nudge us out of our comfort zone towards ideas that we didn’t know that we could love so much! Chanie also expertly navigated between the differing styles of my husband and myself. Our house is beautiful, comfortable and a nod to both of our styles. The savings that she got us on furniture, accessories, and art work more than covers her flat fee. Chanie is an excellent designer, a friendly person to work with, and there is tremendous value in her service. I wholeheartedly recommend Chanie Wood to you.
