IKEA's new SEKTION cabinet system allows for lots of different cabinet and drawer configurations as seen here. Our custom fronts are just as flexible. Here we used CRAFT - DIY Shaker. These doors come unfinished and can be painted in any color. For this kitchen a simple but elegant white was the perfect choice.

The view of the Doe Bay Resort is enjoyed from the reclaimed wide plank wood deck. This tree house was built and designed by the The Treehouse Guys. I staged the area with Adirondack chairs, planters and a jute indoor/outdoor carpet.

Our friend Jenna from Jenna Sue Design came to us in early January 2021, looking to see if we could help bring her closet makeover to life. She was looking to use IKEA PAX doors as a starting point, and built around it. Additional features she had in mind were custom boxes above the PAX units, using one unit to holder drawers and custom sized doors with mirrors, and crafting a vanity desk in-between two units on the other side of the wall. We worked closely with Jenna and sponsored all of the custom door and panel work for this project, which were made from our DIY Paint Grade Shaker MDF. Jenna painted everything we provided, added custom trim to the inside of the shaker rails from Ekena Millwork, and built custom boxes to create a floor to ceiling look. The final outcome is an incredible example of what an idea can turn into through a lot of hard work and dedication. This project had a lot of ups and downs for Jenna, but we are thrilled with the outcome, and her and her husband Lucas deserve all the positive feedback they've received!

Since I co-sleep with my little ones for at least 2 years, I never had a chance to design a "nursery" for them. This time, I redecorated my master bedroom with my little guy in mind! The soft and playful colors, tons of light, rocking chair for nursing and storage area serve as both functionality and style. Meet Nina,the DIY decorating enthusiast behind the blog Swanky Swell. Nina had been eying our Birch Forest Stencil because it reminded her of her favorite nature inspired wallpaper. She had decided to make over her guest bedroom and while she loved the look of wallpaper, the price was way outside her decorating budget. Our Birch Forest Stencil was the perfect solution. She painted the forest pattern on an accent wall behind the bed in Martha Stewart's Tiger Eye. To complete the look of the room, she purchased a headboard from Target and scored a vintage end table on Craigslist that she painted Kelly Green. It's the perfect swanky guest bedroom. Somehow we doubt her guests will want to leave!
