Not sure if you want light or dark colors on your cabinetry? Why not try using both? By accenting your kitchen with darker colors it will help certain pieces’ pop in color. For instance, in our shown kitchen you will see that the perimeter cabinets are painted in our Oatmeal finish, and the island and coffee bar are done in the contrasting dark color of Zinc.
Brighton offers many ways to dress up your cabinetry to give it that extra flair. In the pictures you might have noticed the bun feet on the island. Bun feet give that chic look that will most likely never go out of style. With a bun foot you can give your kitchen a bit more of a comfortable feel, and a look that is like furniture style which is a design that people are looking for.
Don’t forget about your accessories and storage! There are many different options that allow you to conveniently place away your items. From your pots and pans down to your spices, Brighton offers different choices to fit your needs, and if we don’t have it as a standard, your designer can custom quote an item to specifically fit your cabinetry needs. When my clients purchased their home, they knew it needed a major overhaul. And by major, I mean we may have left one wall while tearing down the entire home before building it back up. With requests for a modern, sophisticated southern charmer, we designed a timeless classic perfectly suited for their family’s functions and needs full of whimsy, color and pattern. Everything you see was designed and built from the ground up, including space planning, hard surface specifications from floor to ceiling, lighting, furniture, artwork, and accessories.
We reworked their floorplan to efficiently use the space and provide plenty of natural light, living and entertaining space, and storage throughout. Beautiful accents and thoughtful details are found throughout their home like the custom entry floor pattern, reeded wood detailing on the navy kitchen hutch, custom reeded great room cabinetry, the laundry room dog wash drawer/step or the pull-out drying rack, the double-sided fireplace in the master bedroom and master bath, or the paneled walls with inset wallpaper. There’s sophistication and beauty at every turn and I absolutely loved all of the color and pattern! Stay tuned for the before and after reveal because it’s major!
I’m also honored to say this was also awarded two ASID ANDYZ Awards for Best Residential Kitchen Design over 150sq.ft. and Best Multiple Residential Space over 3000 sq.ft. I’m grateful to work with such amazing clients and talented trades! Be sure to check out the full reveal with the before and after photos too!

Check out this beautiful rift cut white oak kitchen! We put in a custom hood in Venetian plaster for a sleek look. the countertops are Mont Blanc Quartzite with full backsplash.
We added some great accessories like a double trash pullout, cabinet pullouts and power bars.

All Weather teamed up with the Property Brothers and actress and comedian Ali Wong on this week’s episode of HGTV’s hit show Celebrity IOU. In the Ali Wong’s Renovation Surprise for A Dear Friend episode, Ali takes sledgehammers and crowbars into her own hands to help transform her best friend, Citadelle’s barren basement and backyard into the perfect indoor-outdoor entertaining space.
Ali credits much of her early success to her best friend, Citadelle, whose tireless support helped her when she first started out in Los Angeles. “I really wouldn’t be where I am if it wasn’t for her,” noted Ali. Citadelle opened up space in her home for Ali while she went on auditions. So years later, Ali knew it was time to give back in a big way. “Her friendship has been such a gift” said Ali. “I was supposed to stay there for two weeks and it ended up being a year.”
With the help of Drew and Jonathan Scott, Ali was determined to update the entire lower level of Citadelle’s home inside and out and making these spaces as entertainment-friendly as possible for the whole family, including Citadelle’s husband and kids, to enjoy. The multipurpose downstairs basement makeover included turning the family room into a classy lounge with a built in bar, removing the basic stand up shower and replacing it with a luxurious spa tub with stone tiles and converting the guest bedroom into “an office by day and bedroom by night” courtesy of a hidden pull down Murphy bed.
All Weather Series 7000 French Swing Doors extend and connect the indoor lounge area to the new outdoor living spaces. The ultimate backyard includes a stylish fireplace, white pergola, outdoor seating and dining area, an outdoor kitchen/grill and new turf for the yard and play structure areas. THE PROPERTY BROTHERS also painted the entire house white with black trim, leveled the backyard and basically doubled the livable square footage of the home. Check out the PROJECT PHOTOS here.
Now in its third season, Celebrity IOU gives celebrities a chance to show their deepest gratitude and to surprise someone who is important in their life by giving their living space a complete transformation, courtesy of the Drew and Jonathan Scott.

Once a dark, almost claustrophobic wooden box, I used modern colors and strong pieces with an industrial edge to bring light and functionality to this jewelers home studio.
The blush works so magically with the charcoal grey on the walls and the furnishings stand up to the burly workbench which takes pride of place in the room. The blush doubles down and acts as a feminine edge on an otherwise very masculine room. The addition of greenery and gold accents on frames, plant stands and the mirror help that along and also lighten and soften the whole space.

This beautiful two-tone kitchen features our elegant ProS wall range hood. With four blower speeds and a max power of 1800 CFM with sizes 36" and larger, this is one of our most powerful wall models. LED lights will keep your cooktop bright, speeding up your cooking process. Also, dishwasher-safe stainless steel baffle filters make cleaning a breeze.
We love the glass cabinets surrounding the range hood in this white kitchen. Check out the cute small island that's functional too, with a sink included.

Before: This master bathroom was mechanically and functionally sound, but very outdated. The client wanted to keep the same footprint of the bathroom since it worked well for the family. The house was a large spec townhome.

This kitchen was your typical builder basic design. Lot's of cabinets with no thought for function. An odd shaped island that took up space, but didn't provide much storage. We straightened out the island to create more storage and loads of function. It now has the sink, dishwasher, trash center, bookcase, mixer cabinet and microwave drawer plus more! We removed the wall double ovens and added a 48" range instead. This allowed us to flank either side of the fridge with roll out pantry cabinets. An appliance garage was added to the corner. The range has a custom hood over it that blends seamlessly with the cabinets. The client needed a space to sit and check the mail so we created an office space at the end of the wall. Behind the blinds is a new 10' slider for access to the patio. Luxury vinyl plank flooring went in throughout the house. Custom pendant lights were hung in clusters of three above the island. The kitchen was painted Accessible Beige by SW.

This family room design features a sleek and modern gray sectional with a subtle sheen as the main seating area, accented by custom pillows in a bold color-blocked combination of emerald and chartreuse. The room's centerpiece is a round tufted ottoman in a chartreuse hue, which doubles as a coffee table. The window is dressed with a matching chartreuse roman shade, adding a pop of color and texture to the space. A snake skin emerald green tray sits atop the ottoman, providing a stylish spot for drinks and snacks. Above the sectional, a series of framed natural botanical art pieces add a touch of organic beauty to the room's modern design. Together, these elements create a family room that is both comfortable and visually striking.

During: Tile is up and grouted, the vanity is installed (just waiting on the countertop), and the walls have been painted. My courses help you in each of these steps. It is totally achievable!
