This railing was the first planned update of the Fort Collins, CO couples home renovation. The wavy lines give the room a natural feel. Design and fabrication by Hueber Industries LLC. Photo: Rory Schaar.

This beautiful estate is positioned with beautiful views and mountain sides around which is why the client loves it so much and never wants to leave. She has lots of pretty decor and treasures she had collected over the years of travelling and wanted to give the home a facelift and better display those items, including a Murano glass chandelier from Italy. The kitchen had a strange peninsula and dining nook that we removed and replaced with a kitchen continent (larger than an island) and built in around the patio door that hide outlets and controls and other supplies. We changed all the flooring, stairway and railing including the gallery area, fireplaces, entryway and many other touches, completely updating the downstairs. Upstairs we remodeled the master bathroom, walk-in closet and after everything was done, she loved it so much that she had us come back a few years later to add another patio door with built in downstairs and an elevator from the master suite to the great room and also opened to a spa outside. This kitchen effortlessly combines warmth with sleek industrial accents, creating a visually striking yet inviting space. The cabinetry features Dura Supreme's expertly crafted dark cherry cabinets, lending richness and depth to the design. Polished chrome hardware and pulls offer a modern contrast, emphasizing the industrial elements.
The countertops and backsplash showcase Bianco Antico Granite, a light-toned stone that enhances the balance between warmth and modernity. Complementing the granite are ceramic tiles, crackle glass accents, and rhomboid tiles, thoughtfully arranged to form dynamic frames and focal points, including a diamond mosaic feature.
A prominent chimney hood serves as a bold centerpiece, tying together the space's contemporary aesthetic. High-performing appliances, such as stainless steel models, an electric range, and an induction range with a glass finish, integrate seamlessly into the design for functionality and style.
The layout is elevated by details like subway tiles, a tile frame focal point, and sophisticated elements from Kitchens of Diablo, all contributing to the refined industrial feel. This kitchen is a perfect blend of traditional warmth and sleek, cutting-edge design.
