With a modest patio between the home and the pool, the homeowners longed for better entertaining spaces and more connection between their interior, exterior, pool, and second floor. Copper Sky Design + Remodel began this renovation with the removal of a weathered pergola and creating a large opening from their living room to the patio for new sleek accordion steel doors that seamlessly merge the indoor and outdoor spaces. To further elevate the outdoor space, the adjacent patio was covered, and retractable screens and vinyl panels were installed. These features provide flexibility to enjoy the outdoors without the inconvenience of summertime insects, pollen, and unpredictable weather. The ceiling of the newly covered porch was custom designed to discreetly house the electrical components for the motorized screens, maintaining a clean and uncluttered appearance. A spiral staircase was introduced, leading to a second-story deck that spans the width of the home. This addition provides easy access to the outdoors directly from the bedrooms, offering a serene spot for enjoying the stunning views of the backyard. The deck features cable railing, which preserves the unobstructed view, and is adorned with elegant copper post caps. For added privacy, louvered wooden screens were installed at one end of the deck. Given the homeowners' joy for entertaining, this design included the installation of outdoor speakers and color-changing LED lights on the porch ceiling and upper deck railings. The LED lights allow for a customizable ambiance, enabling the homeowners to set the perfect mood for any occasion. Additionally, gas lanterns were added to the porch beams, casting a romantic glow over the pool area, and enhancing the atmosphere for evening gatherings.

If you haven’t heard the term “aging in place” already, you’re going to hear it more and more in the next ten years. The term as emerged as more and more adults expressed their desire to stay in their own homes for as long as possible. Rather than moving into a community built around increased accessibility needs, home owners are looking to the kitchen and bath remodeling industry to innovate the spaces in their home where they perform the most important tasks. As most long-time home owners realize, the need for accessibility and safety first presents itself in the bathroom. If balance is becoming an issue for a homeowner, the first concern that tends to arise is an exponentially increased fall-risk in the bathroom. Each year, one-third of individuals report a fall, and two thirds of those who fall will fall again in the next six months. Finally, falls are the leading cause of death from injury for people over 65. Individuals coping with injury, recovering from surgery, arthritis and other similar health issues are at an even higher risk of falling. In other words, every day, more and more people are finding the act of bathing or showering difficult, worrisome or even painful! For those seeking to age in place, this is where acrylic tub-to-shower conversions, like Reborn Cabinets Bath Solutions, are incredibly helpful, and can dramatically improve a person’s quality of life. Highly customizable to meet anyone’s daily bathing needs, acrylic tub-to-shower conversions give home owners the option to add benches, safety rails, and even the ability to install a barrier-free design—easy entry for those who require wheelchairs or walkers. But the aging in place-crowd isn’t simply looking for strictly functional solutions to their daily routine. Since these innovations are changing their already-existing bathroom, there is a need to move these accessible spaces beyond function and keep them stylish. Again, aging in place is all about keeping your house a home—not a “facility.” Reborn Bath Solutions is a versatile product, allowing home-owners to choose from a great selection of colors and a wide array of fixtures. Sure, the “bathroom of your dreams” may look a little different these days, but you deserve it! Give us a call, and we’ll help you stay in your home and keep your daily sense of confidence!

This Los Angeles bathroom renovation was designed to create a clean, modern retreat with an emphasis on openness, premium materials, and long-term functionality. The homeowner wanted a bathroom that felt bright, spacious, and easy to maintain while delivering a luxury hotel experience every day. To achieve this, we combined large-format porcelain tile, frameless tempered glass shower enclosures, and carefully selected hardware finishes to create a timeless, elegant look. The project features multiple custom shower configurations, including a spacious walk-in shower with a brushed gold sliding shower door, a matte black frameless enclosure, and a frosted bypass tub door designed for privacy without sacrificing natural light. Each enclosure was custom-fitted to maximize usable space while maintaining clean sightlines throughout the room. Premium 3/8” tempered safety glass provides durability and a seamless appearance, while the minimalist hardware complements a variety of interior styles—from contemporary to transitional. The brushed gold hardware adds warmth against dramatic marble-look walls, while the matte black finish creates a bold architectural statement in lighter spaces. Beyond aesthetics, every detail was selected with everyday living in mind: * Custom-sized frameless glass shower enclosures * Heavy-duty tempered safety glass * Smooth, quiet sliding door system * Premium stainless steel hardware * Easy-clean glass coating for simplified maintenance * Minimalist design that enhances natural light and visual openness The result is a collection of bathrooms that balances luxury, practicality, and lasting performance. Whether it’s a spacious primary suite or a compact guest bathroom, each installation demonstrates how custom glass solutions can transform the overall feel of a space. At Cozy N Bath, we work closely with homeowners, designers, and contractors to deliver shower door solutions that are both beautiful and built to last. With local warehouses, expert support, and customizable sizing, we help bring modern bathroom visions to life throughout California and across the United States.
