Office wallpaper installation – Apopka, FL. This office in Apopka features Asian-inspired wallpaper with delicate cranes in flight across a pale blue background. Installed behind the desk and shelving unit, the pattern brings calm and elegance. The layout was carefully aligned to let the birds “float” continuously across each panel.

This urban townhouse took on new life when it was renovated for a couple relocating from New York City. The owner’s sophisticated taste, cultivated from world travels, paired with the character of the existing home and resulted in a fresh and colorful gem in the heart of the historic downtown.
Extensive approvals from the local Historic District Commission preceded an addition on the rear of the time-honored building and a complete restoration of the exterior. The addition encompasses a first-floor, finished garage with arch doors that open to the gardens, ideal for entertaining. Above the garage accommodates the master bedroom, walk-in closets and a bathroom suite. The exterior restoration allowed the addition of window pediments, shutters with authentic hardware and gaslight features. Pocket gardens surround the townhouse and boast multiple plantings that complement a historic environment.
The interior of the home was restructured to allow for reworking of the main stair. The reconfigured flight can now carry the weight of books and art alongside ascending residents and guests. Amid construction, two previously hidden fireplaces were uncovered. By the end of the renovation, four fireplaces were entirely refurbished and now lend immense aesthetic to interior design.
The interior finishes within the home keep visitors engaged and impressed. From imported Italian tile to contextually historic light switches, the colorful décor is appealing to all senses. Specially painted walls coordinate with furnishings, bookcases and art.

In the third floor library we had custom built bookcases constructed with a strong geometric pattern. The shelves were finished in a high gloss black to make them stand out against the white walls.

This central staircase offers access to all three levels of the home. Along side the staircase is a elevator that also accesses all 3 levels of living space.

The Grasslands home was born out of and celebrates the beautiful but fragile grassland ecology of the Carmel Valley. Our client’s desire to actively simplify his lifestyle to the most essential elements inclusive of space clearly drove sensibilities in the design. In addition the home features a precision, derived from the client’s love of flight, a grounded-ness from his love of books and the love of his horse.
To meet the simplistic beauty of the scope, the home consists of three interconnected glass pavilions and a detached barn which wrap to the bowl shape of the land. The pavilions are comprised of a master suite, a library/living room, kitchen, and a meditation sanctuary; the barn, his horse and car.
The design focuses on preserving the delicate ecosystem of the surrounding grasslands, while concurrently incorporate views and maximize solar orientation. In support, the pavilions sit on the perimeter of an existing bowl shaped depression in the hillside. Three primary landscape walls run parallel to the topography, emphasizing the shape and spatial definition of the land as well as providing locations to anchor the structures. Pulled up and out of the landscape, the buildings jut over the anchor walls, hovering above the native grasses. In section, the land appears to flow through the pavilions, undisturbed and collaborative to the architecture.

This flight inspired nursery was designed for a family with a passion for travel. A beloved antique travel poster and existing crib were the starting points for our design. We worked with artists on etsy.com to develop some unique custom elements for the room. Our favorite is a vintage inspired plane propeller that was crafted as a childhood growth chart. In house, we crafted a paper airplane mobile from city street map inspired paper and a reclaimed bike rim. Tailored blackout lined drapes were added to soften the room and provide a light-free space for baby to rest. The patterned rug is a fun addition that has become the family’s favorite baby photo op spot! This room is bursting with unique flight inspired details that we hope will be loved by the child for years and years to come!
