Tress Floor
By Foscarini
Floor lamp made of composite material on a lacquered fiberglass base, available in two sizes – large and medium - in white, black and red. Tress is a web of threads and resin that acts at the same time as the structure, decoration and screen, a never before seen interplay of full and empty spaces, light and shadow. The cable woven inside the structure gives a plain and elegant effect.

This split level property in Centennial, Colorado had T1-11 siding. The paint was peeling and the composite wood was swelling and flaking off in areas. This home needed some TLC.
Colorado Siding Repair installed James Hardie’s primed Sierra 8 Panel Siding to match the current look. Once the new siding was in place, we painted the whole house with Sherwin-William’s Duration. The homeowner chose Web Gray, trim in Early Gray, and the front door in Expressive Plum. This straight-forward, cost-effective home exterior renovation drastically improved the curb appeal of this home. What do you think?

The patterns, reminiscent of carefully drawn pencil lines, create an interweaving effect, a web of random marks that emanate an emotional candor.

This bathroom represents the Classic Movement in Charleston, 1890 to 1920, when things went from fussy and overdone to modern convenience. And that relates perfectly to what designer Susan Jamieson did in this space, taking classical architectural elements from some of Charleston’s historic homes and pairing them with modern fixtures. A mix of old and new. Yesterday and tomorrow.

The Daniela armchair by Missoni, Italy patiently waits for someone to enjoy her comfortable curved back and padded seat. Backrest and seat are made with rubber-coated webbing. Shown in striped viscose, a yarn dyed, corduroy called Nazca. On the other side of Daniela is the Nap lounger and matching cylinder pouf. Designed to embrace an extensive and unique art collection including sculpture, paintings, tapestry, and cultural antiquities, this modernist home located in north Scottsdale’s Estancia is the quintessential gallery home for the spectacular collection within. The primary roof form, “the wing” as the owner enjoys referring to it, opens the home vertically to a view of adjacent Pinnacle peak and changes the aperture to horizontal for the opposing view to the golf course. Deep overhangs and fenestration recesses give the home protection from the elements and provide supporting shade and shadow for what proves to be a desert sculpture. The restrained palette allows the architecture to express itself while permitting each object in the home to make its own place. The home, while certainly modern, expresses both elegance and warmth in its material selections including canterra stone, chopped sandstone, copper, and stucco.

Decorative end screen and finished ceiling create finished environment for patio under porch and decks.
Large stepping-stones in natural turf add rich color, texture and pattern between the stairs and the patio.
Ornamental trees supply up-close structure and texture to the flat site.
Large Brown Jordan sectional coach in patio ‘living room’ is positioned to appreciate the fire table and prairie view.
Effective balance of rustic Tuscan and clean contemporary design elements and materials (large country table and modern web- backed sectional).
Stout architectural columns replaced spindly porch posts to anchor the prominent fireplace stonework and home.
Custom fire feature with dark stain finish contrasts beautifully with light sectional.

Slimtech Naive, design by Patrick Norguet, is inspired by avant-garde technology.
It is the meeting point between design and technology, between craftsmanship and industry, between porcelain stoneware and glaze.
The patterns, reminiscent of carefully drawn pencil lines, create an interweaving effect, a web of random marks that emanate an emotional candor.
The lightness and the sizes of the slabs accentuate the delicacy of these lines, which intersect unpredictably.
A playful interaction between marks and rhythm that creates vibrant and mysterious surfaces available in various colors.
