Example of a large trendy master gray tile white floor bathroom design in Austin with gray walls and a drop-in sink

Full scale renovation in Santa Monica, CA. Before the renovation, this home was a dated, closed off space that had no flow. A wall was removed in the kitchen to create an open and inviting floor plan. All new interior shell details were selected by Kimberly Demmy Design - as well as all the furnishing that finished off the space. The end result was a polished space that encapsulated the full potential of this home.

The kitchen and dining room in this 1960’s colonial were cramped and uncomfortable for any sort of large entertaining or crowd. With a small 3’ bump out along the back wall of the home, both rooms became much more spacious and useable. The kitchen addition allowed for a large center island and hearth cooking center as the focal point for the whole kitchen. While the expanded dining room, now allows room for a large holiday gathering, neighborhood card party or a group of kids after school.
The custom kitchen was designed with Omega Cabinetry, leathered granite countertops around the perimeter and Ceasarstone on the island. The custom hearth hood encapsulates a 36” Thermador professional gas range top that makes cooking a joy! Alongside the 36” built-in Subzero French door refrigerator a Thermador steam/bake oven and convection oven offer the homeowner tremendous cooking and baking options. Finally, the microwave drawer in the island makes quick warm ups easy for the 3 children.
Additionally, the kitchen was opened up dramatically to the home’s family room, creating an open feeling and central place for the family to gather.

Beaux arts architecture of Blairsden was inspiration for kitchen. Homeowner wanted clean airy look while repurposing cold commercial cooking space to an aesthetically pleasing functional kitchen for family and friends or for a catering staff during larger gatherings.
Aside from the hand made LaCornue range, no appliances were to be be in the kitchen so as not to interfere with the aesthetic. Instead, the appliances were moved to an adjacent space and celebrated as their own aesthetic with complimentary stainless steel cabinetry and tiled walls.
The color pallet of the kitchen was intentionally subtle with tones of beige white and grey. Light was reintroduced into the space by rebuilding the east and north windows.
Traffic pattern was improved by moving range from south wall to north wall. Custom stainless structural window, with stainless steel screen and natural brass harlequin grill encapsulated in insulated frosted glass, was engineered to support hood and creates a stunning backdrop for the already gorgeous range.
All hardware in kitchen is unlacquered natural brass intentionally selected so as to develop its own patina as it oxides over time to give a true historic quality.
Other interesting point about kitchen:
All cabinetry doors 5/4"
All cabinetry interiors natural walnut
All cabinetry interiors on sensors and light up with LED lights that are routed into frames of cabinetry
Magnetic cutlery dividers in drawers enable user to reposition easily
Venician plaster walls
Lava stone countertops on perimeter
Marble countertop island
2 level cutting boards and strainers in sink by galley workstation

This new home was built on an old lot in Dallas, TX in the Preston Hollow neighborhood. The new home is a little over 5,600 sq.ft. and features an expansive great room and a professional chef’s kitchen. This 100% brick exterior home was built with full-foam encapsulation for maximum energy performance. There is an immaculate courtyard enclosed by a 9' brick wall keeping their spool (spa/pool) private. Electric infrared radiant patio heaters and patio fans and of course a fireplace keep the courtyard comfortable no matter what time of year. A custom king and a half bed was built with steps at the end of the bed, making it easy for their dog Roxy, to get up on the bed. There are electrical outlets in the back of the bathroom drawers and a TV mounted on the wall behind the tub for convenience. The bathroom also has a steam shower with a digital thermostatic valve. The kitchen has two of everything, as it should, being a commercial chef's kitchen! The stainless vent hood, flanked by floating wooden shelves, draws your eyes to the center of this immaculate kitchen full of Bluestar Commercial appliances. There is also a wall oven with a warming drawer, a brick pizza oven, and an indoor churrasco grill. There are two refrigerators, one on either end of the expansive kitchen wall, making everything convenient. There are two islands; one with casual dining bar stools, as well as a built-in dining table and another for prepping food. At the top of the stairs is a good size landing for storage and family photos. There are two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, as well as a movie room. What makes this home so special is the Casita! It has its own entrance off the common breezeway to the main house and courtyard. There is a full kitchen, a living area, an ADA compliant full bath, and a comfortable king bedroom. It’s perfect for friends staying the weekend or in-laws staying for a month.

Asher's seamless joinery and beautiful walnut or ash veneer are inspired by the design of traditional teak Danish mid-century masterpieces. Carefully crafted and delicately sculpted, the frame is beveled with 45 degree edges that fall towards the center, encapsulating the security of the head. At the base, which sits wide above slim tapered solid wood legs, the complementary edges gently slope outwards, gradually bringing you down into deeper, dramatic slumber. The Asher Bed is available in King or Queen and is part of a five piece set that completes the classic mid-century modern dream.

Inspiration for a large timeless u-shaped carpeted and gray floor seated home bar remodel in Minneapolis with an undermount sink, raised-panel cabinets, black cabinets, wood countertops and multicolored backsplash

This old bathroom was the last to get interior design attention in an otherwise beautiful Larchmont, Westchester home. A NYC podiatric surgeon and his lovely wife/business manager desperately wanted to [finally] renovate their master bath.
The new master bathroom remodel needed to be spa-like and also fit into the rest of the home that had been carefully designed and curated over many years. Their children were grown and on their own, and finally it was time to indulge for themselves. Initially the plan was to simply replace the outdated tile, but in further discussion, it was clear that a gut renovation would be best.
We began with a spa-like grey and white palette. The cool 12x24 Porcelanosa porcelain tiles were the perfect jump off point to dive into the serene concept. First, the shower was redesigned with a larger footprint and encapsulating it in beautiful, clear starphire glass. We then designed a custom space-transforming floating vanity with dark grey stained oak and a super white, engineered stone counter top. Next up, we got rid of the old built in tub and installed a stunning, deep soaking tub by Victoria + Albert. The shower and sink fixtures were also carefully curated with a distinctly European feel from the Solar line by Graff. Keeping with the simple, elegant vibe, we chose sophisticated, minimal white sconces by FLOS each side of the vanity mirrors. Contemporary recessed lighting replaced the outdated grid lights of the original bath. Now that we had our clean-lined, modern grey and white bath, we needed a light fixture to top it off. A little glamorous bling to be a super star. The perfect finishing touch? A Robert Abbey Bling Chandelier, of course!
