A uniform and cohesive look adds simplicity to the overall aesthetic, supporting the minimalist design of this boathouse. The A5s is Glo’s slimmest profile, allowing for more glass, less frame, and wider sightlines. The concealed hinge creates a clean interior look while also providing a more energy-efficient air-tight window. The increased performance is also seen in the triple pane glazing used in both series. The windows and doors alike provide a larger continuous thermal break, multiple air seals, high-performance spacers, Low-E glass, and argon filled glazing, with U-values as low as 0.20. Energy efficiency and effortless minimalism create a breathtaking Scandinavian-style remodel.

This new 6400 s.f. two-story split-level home lifts upward and orients toward unobstructed views of Windy Hill. The deep overhanging flat roof design with a stepped fascia preserves the classic modern lines of the building while incorporating a Zero-Net Energy photovoltaic panel system. From start to finish, the construction is uniformly energy efficient and follows California Build It Green guidelines. Many sustainable finish materials are used on both the interior and exterior, including recycled old growth cedar and pre-fabricated concrete panel siding.

This second-story addition to an already 'picture perfect' Naples home presented many challenges. The main tension between adding the many 'must haves' the client wanted on their second floor, but at the same time not overwhelming the first floor. Working with David Benner of Safety Harbor Builders was key in the design and construction process – keeping the critical aesthetic elements in check. The owners were very 'detail oriented' and actively involved throughout the process. The result was adding 924 sq ft to the 1,600 sq ft home, with the addition of a large Bonus/Game Room, Guest Suite, 1-1/2 Baths and Laundry. But most importantly — the second floor is in complete harmony with the first, it looks as it was always meant to be that way.

Inspiration for a small modern girl medium tone wood floor and brown floor kids' room remodel in Other with blue walls

Our task was converting a old and dated part time ski house into a full time updated home for our clients who decided to move out of the city and into the gorgeous landscape of the mad river valley. We removed all the dark shiplap wood walls and re insulated, re wired and sheet rocked all the walls to brighten everything up. A new kitchen, master bedroom addition, deck, bathrooms, flooring doors and trim to name a few items helped breath new life into this home.

The client's purchased this home with a gorgeous lot but needing a total gut renovation and addition. We brought the mechanicals, insulation, and electrical up-to-speed along with renovating the interior and exterior of the home.
A few of the interesting features seen here are a reclaimed wood island-top from a local train station, the cabinets custom-made with a local cabinet maker, a copper ceiling above the island in the kitchen, a large farmhouse sink in the kitchen, and a table from reclaimed wood. We also installed custom built-ins and window seats for the children's rooms. All of this was built for the client on-site.

Our client came to us with an intentionally unfinished basement of their ski home as they had planned to put in a very sleek and useful space to relax and unwind after a long day in the mountains.
A few interesting features of this project are as follows. The tub is an elliptical Japanese soaking tub which is lined in cedar and custom-made copper. The wood for the sauna is imported, exotic wood from Scandinavia. The floor is ceramic tile made to look like wood plank. The shower is open shower and the floor pitches perfectly in that corner for ease of draining.

This classic style home welcomes you with a copper metal roof sheltering the front porch.
