While these Lafayette homeowners were generally content with their kitchen’s overall footprint, they were discontent with the functional use of their space and the dated style. They needed more storage, better functional use of their cabinet space, and a brighter, more sophisticated design. Riverside recommended a pull and replace renovation as the perfect solution. The first step was to remove the soffit over the bar seating area, replacing it with two beautiful bubble glass pendants that created a striking focal point for the room. The dated cabinets were replaced with Wellborn Premier Prairie Full Overlay Cherry cabinetry and 5-piece drawer fronts that were finished with a ‘ginger’ stain. The couple especially loved the practical pull-out drawers for easy access to spices and other cooking essentials. A glossy white ceramic tile backsplash lightened up the kitchen, while the Daltile Deco Mosaic mural behind the stovetop created another decorative focal point for the room. The new Giallo Ornamental Granite countertops were finished with a half bevel edge and the flooring was replaced with Cove Creek Glazed Porcelain floor tile.

This sun-filled farmhouse kitchen is the focal point of this home’s new addition. The kitchen is white with wood elements, giving it a contemporary feel. From the recessed outlets in the island, to the columns adorning the island, to the hood with walnut trim, to the paneled refrigerator that matches the cabinetry, every detail was customized for the homeowners. The kitchen is anchored by a large island with seating for seven and tons of storage. The island is bookended by additional components topped by walnut butcher block counters. One end serves as a table and the other end is an extra area for food prep and storage. There is also a cutting board integrated into the sink. The white quartz on the island and main kitchen counters and white subway tile backsplash give the kitchen a modern, sleek look. The walnut trim around the hood is a special touch that ties directly into the walnut butcher block counters. After tearing down this home's existing addition, we set out to create a new addition with a modern farmhouse feel that still blended seamlessly with the original house. The addition includes a kitchen great room, laundry room and sitting room. Outside, we perfectly aligned the cupola on top of the roof, with the upper story windows and those with the lower windows, giving the addition a clean and crisp look. Using granite from Chester County, mica schist stone and hardy plank siding on the exterior walls helped the addition to blend in seamlessly with the original house. Inside, we customized each new space by paying close attention to the little details. Everfall is set within a pristine 20,000-square-foot property in one of Coral Gables’ oldest and most storied neighborhoods. Here, mature canopy trees, towering palms, and historic architecture define a sense of place often referred to as the “real Miami.” While the residence showcases exquisitely modernized architecture and unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay, the pre-existing garden fell short of its potential. Our design challenge is twofold: to reimagine vehicular and pedestrian circulation in harmony with the site’s topography, and to create a garden that respects and reinforces the character of its historic setting. Circulation was addressed first. The driveway was redesigned to ease steep slopes and form a welcoming motor court that blends hardscape and planting. Pedestrian access was reoriented to highlight the east–west axis, and the former unsightly pedestrian ramp was replaced with platform steps, expansive landings, and lush planting; establishing a tranquil and clearly defined entry sequence. The planting design emphasizes native species along the perimeter and public right-of-way, aligning with the evolving character of surrounding gardens. Within the property, sculptural specimen trees, epiphytes, and lithophytes evoke the feeling of a long-established landscape. A palette of Mediterranean textures and cliff-dwelling Date Palm species were integrated as elegant accents. Color plays a vital role in the sensory experience, introduced through climbing vines and profusely flowering shrubs and groundcovers in shades of pink, purple, and white. Above all, the garden is designed as a reflection of our clients—their personalities, passions, and way of life. It is a living extension of their home, offering beauty, comfort, and an immersive connection to the natural world. We are honored to shape the vision for the Everfall. This landscape is essential to the experience of the property, and our design seeks to honor its rich context, architectural sophistication, and breathtaking views of the Miami skyline. We worked with the owners of this World War II-era farmhouse in Wynnewood, PA, to renovate and modernize their kitchen. We added custom cabinetry, open shelving made from reclaimed wood, state-of-the-art commercial appliances, a beverage center, and a large island with seating to enhance the functionality of the space. High-end finishes, like the white granite and reclaimed long leaf pine wood counters and the white porcelain tile backsplash, give this farmhouse kitchen a modern, yet classic, look. We completely renovated this Haverford home between Memorial Day and Labor Day! We maintained the traditional feel of this colonial home with Early-American heart pine floors and bead board on the walls of various rooms. But we also added features of modern living. The open concept kitchen has warm blue cabinetry, an eating area with a built-in bench with storage, and an especially convenient area for pet supplies and eating! Subtle and sophisticated, the bathrooms are awash in gray and white Carrara marble. We custom made built-in shelves, storage and a closet throughout the home. Crafting the millwork on the staircase walls, post and railing was our favorite part of the project. We renovated the exterior and installed the hardscaping of the traditional colonial home in Villanova, PA. The flagstone patio has a beautiful hand-crafted pergola made from reclaimed long leaf pine. The outdoor fireplace was constructed out of mica and granite and has two storage areas for wood. The stone retaining wall includes interior lighting. A short walk down an adjoining staircase brings you to a courtyard immediately outside of the basement. The courtyard features the same flagstone, stone retaining wall and interior lighting. Regarding the house itself, we rebuilt the chimney (and the accompanying fireplace inside), added Harding plank cement siding, and built the retaining wall along the driveway.
