A compact built-in desk gives this playful bedroom a dedicated place for homework, reading and creative projects without taking space away from sleeping or play. Positioned beside the window, the workspace benefits from natural light while remaining visually integrated with the bed and surrounding millwork.
The bold red floating metal shelf incorporates a concealed LED strip that illuminates the desk surface below, providing practical task lighting while introducing the client’s favorite color. A black laminate insert protects the desktop from the everyday wear of markers, art supplies and school projects, creating a durable and easy-to-maintain work surface.
Custom birch cabinetry combines open shelving with concealed storage, providing flexibility in what is displayed and what is kept out of sight. Books, toys and favorite collections can remain visible, while less decorative items are tucked away to prevent the compact room from feeling visually overwhelming. The result is a hardworking workspace designed to remain organized and adapt as the child’s interests evolve.

This elegant formal living room is the heart of this expansive residence in Morristown NJ. This family of six include a husband, wife, their four young boys all twelve and under and two furry puppies. Our clients one wish was to finally introduce some feminine touches to their home. The inspiration for this lovely space all began with the stunning purple and peach plaid silk fabric which would later be made into custom curtain panels that would become the perfect backdrop.
All of the seating here including the mid century sofa with brass legs, pink leather chaise lounge and purple moire swivel lounge chairs are all family friendly fabrics. The large white quartz lamps are the jewelry of the room. The oval coffee table is covered in a silver grasscloth wallpaper that has 18 layers of clear protective lacquer coating.
This ever evolving living space changes with the "seasons." Right now it is designed for the winter season, once spring comes we swap out the dark purple gray pillows for bright peach ones as well as swap out the accessories to more lively colored ones. What do all the males in the house think of this lavish living room? They LOVE it.

Family room - traditional family room idea in Detroit

Designed for a young artist with a love of art, books and the colour blue, this bedroom was thoughtfully transformed into a sophisticated and inspiring space—one she can continue to grow into for years to come.
The design balances elegance and function through custom floor-to-ceiling millwork in a soft natural wood finish, paired with calming blue accents that express her personality in a refined and timeless way. Because creativity is such an important part of her daily life, maximizing organization and usable workspace was essential.
A large custom desk extends into the room to create an expansive work surface for art projects, studying and collaborating with friends. A thoughtful combination of deep and shallow cabinetry, generously sized drawers and open shelving keeps supplies organized and accessible while providing space to display meaningful objects and evolving inspiration.
Frosted-glass cabinet doors softly conceal books, art materials and treasured collections, minimizing visual clutter while also helping to protect the contents from dust. The result is a serene, polished and highly functional space that retains the warmth and personality of a young artist’s retreat.
Soft textures, layered lighting and carefully curated details complete the room, creating an inviting atmosphere that supports creativity, focus and comfort in equal measure.
