The great room incorporates a living and dining and is open to the kitchen as well as a luxurious back patio. It is the perfect place for entertaining. In this space we used rich wood furniture, including a custom exotic wood scroll bench. Cream and white leather upholstery is predominant with hammered silver nail head trim as accents. An antiqued silver leafed custom bar cabinet in an alcove in the back of the space was custom made just for the client. A floor lamp with crystal accents highlights the gorgeous crystal lamp that rests on the sofa table. A large contemporary art piece on the wall brings in some color and interest. We refinished the walnut strip wood flooring in a darker color for more contrast and placed a custom pony hair area rug to the living room floor for added dimension and luxury. Lots of metal and glass furniture accents are seen throughout. A metallic drapery rod and custom horizontally striped drapery panels over motorized roman shades add a glamorous feel to the space. For an upscale look we used grass cloth and mica wall coverings on the dining room wall. An inlaid walnut sunburst table is surrounded by custom upholstered dining chairs and the focal point is the custom chandelier made with quartz crystal clusters in varied lengths over the dining room table. A player piano in the corner of the room adds to the entertainment ambiance of this new condo. Photography by Erika Bierman

This six-bedroom home — all with en-suite bathrooms — is a brand new home on one of Lincoln Park's most desirable streets. The neo-Georgian, brick and limestone façade features well-crafted detailing both inside and out. The lower recreation level is expansive, with 9-foot ceilings throughout. The first floor houses elegant living and dining areas, as well as a large kitchen with attached great room, and the second floor holds an expansive master suite with a spa bath and vast walk-in closets. A grand, elliptical staircase ascends throughout the home, concluding in a sunlit penthouse providing access to an expansive roof deck and sweeping views of the city.. Nathan Kirkman

Large Experimental Abstract Art Piece Titled: "Out of Line" In a chic contemporary loft space with dark grey concrete walls is a large unique, abstract artwork titled, "Out of Line". The artwork is alive with fluid yet chaotic black lines that seem to be in motion. Blends and blurs of deep turquoise, vibrant orange, and seductive purple are mixed thought the piece. You might imagine this feeling as a 'clean messiness', or a ' luxe grunge style'. It's a eye-catching creative atmosphere for the multicultural urbanite. Art is mounted to an elegant, matte acrylic glass. Art arrives ready to hang. We updated this full bathroom with elegant materials and fun textures for a unique look. Textured gray ceramic tile adds dimension to the shower walls. For the shower wall accent, and for the bathroom floors, we used a stunning multi color marble pebble mosaic tile. Light blue walls, white bead board and an all-white vanity add a modern vibe to this beachy bathroom.

This waterfall photo is a section of a rock lined creek-stream water feature, that we built, which is over 200' long. It is located underneath a grove of oaks that provides plenty of shade and partial sun for the ferns and other shade loving plants. The landscape was designed by the homeowners and is meticulously maintained.
