My laundry room was a dull neutral, but now the dark walls make the cabinetry and appliances pop. I used a few extra bookshelves from the living room to fill the gap between the uppers while being super functional for storage. I changed out the old lighting (ceiling mounted, builder basic) and place this globes with LED edison bulbs that give off a TON of light. So nice to walk in to this every evening.

With not a lot of space to work with, it is best to get back to the basics. Simple and easy tones that all compliment one another provides an atmosphere that's easy on the eye. A classic and finished island with countertop overhang gives the necessary extra seating. Lighter cabinets are the foundation paired with granite, backsplash and flooring that are all in perfect harmony.
