Classic spindle legs and pineapple pedestals support rattan-motif tabletops. Seating pieces have plantation-shutter backs, are generously scaled, and include high-performing, solution-dyed fabric cushions for lasting, fade-resistant comfort.

This outdoor terrace is ready for the beach weather! I used lightweight aluminum chairs that resemble rattan and weather proof fabric that stands the harsh sun and rain while still being fade resistant. The perfect setting for a brunch or afternoon cocktails watching the sunset!

This bedroom started out as the quintessential space room: castoff bed, minimal furniture and no rugs, leaving it cold and no so inviting! We brought in a large dark wood bed and lux bedding to cosy up the space. We added a huge faded traditional rug and beautiful glass lamps as well as elegant mercury glass and steel tables. We dressed the windows in an elegant Oriental bird and floral fabric and added teal and yellow accessories to bring it all together.

The client likes to keep her windows open so vinyl grass cloth was chosen for the walls to hold up to the damp weather. Being on a busy street, the traditional historic windows contained shutters. To allow more light in, a half shutter was chosen. The top of the shutter also has a solar shade to filter the sunlight and protect the furniture fabrics from fading.

For this project, the client wanted bright, happy colors to go with her eclectic art collection. Many of her antique furniture and artwork was used along with updated comfortable furniture and bright colors. The designers along with the client chose user-friendly fabrics that could stand up to high traffic and remain fade and stain-resistant. The rug is a custom handwoven rag rug by a local island artist, Hillary Anapol.
