It has put on explosive growth in the sunny site, and yielded many blossoms, and fruit even in its first year of planting. It is self-fertilizing, so a second cherry tree is not required, which is optimal, given the tight spacing in this back yard.

Newly remodeled home lacked excitement on the exterior. Front porch had wiggly step and empty area below kitchen window. Front lawn was fertilized and trees were trimmed, base of trees framed with border and stones. Black garage door and shutters replaced/shutters painted white. Deck added with step across entire front. New lighting and pebble stone area added in front of new deck with patio furniture to sit out and relax. Curb appeal is dramatic and neighbors stop now to enjoy!

Raisin making is typical for many of our smaller champagne type fruits. With little summer pruning and fertility the grape varieties suitable for the NW number in the dozens.
