A rewarding process from the start - Bellevue Homes provided a clear concept for this 4,000 sf Craftsman style home and retained us to refine the massing and construction details.
The home features a spacious great room and kitchen area with a dynamic loft area above, first floor master suite, and a general flow and openness well suited for modern living and entertaining. Additional outdoor living spaces are created with oversized front and rear porches and a cozy courtyard formed within the space between the main structure and carriage house.

David Thorne Landscape ArchitectLush plantings surround the pavers that curve and lead to the pool area. Beyond that is the lawn and tucked away in the trees are the accessory building, sport court, and outdoor shower. Throughout the landscape, we mixed formality with touches of whimsy -- spiral topiary boxwood, bright dashes of colorful flowers, contrasting textures. When we teamed up with this young family for a renovation, we created an outdoor space satisfying the needs of all the members of their family.

MuralbyDesignEvery project has its own challenges, but this one was the most challenging l ever worked on. Usually, when l paint l get up and down the ladder a million times to see the mural from a distance.
Here was almost totally impossible to do that while on the boom lifter and going close to highway 31 to see how it looked what l was painting at arm distance. So l had to only imagine what the ruffles I was creating would look like from the highway, while the dip ridges of the panels worked against my desired image idea, which was the creation of a realistic fabric look of the flag.
