The way we envision the perfect dining room is quite simple really.
The perfect dining room is one that will always have enough room for late comers and enough logs for its hearth.
While It is no secret that the fondest memories are made when gathered around the table, everlasting memories are forged over the glowing heat of a stone fireplace.
This Houzz project folder contains some examples of antique stone Fireplaces we've provided in dining room.
We hope that our imagery will inspire you to merge your dining experience with the warmth radiating from one of our own breath taking stone mantles.

This residential development utilizes our SAGIWALL, in a number of different wood grain finishes, for accent features on the exterior of each home. Take out the last pictures of the sagiper soffit mocha redwood in this folder.

My client walked into Ethan Allen with a budget and a knowledge of what she definitely wanted! She really knew she wanted new carpets for the entry way and some sort of flow between the front rooms, along with privacy in their family room! Together, we decided that the best way to stay in her budget and approach her needs was to add curtains to her living room and dining room. In this folder is befores, durings, and afters of my clients' home!

Upper drawer has removable dividers. File drawer has built-in rails for hanging file folders.

In a common area on the 2nd floor, used as a home-schooling room, I added this built-in desk for the "teacher" (mom). Includes a pull-out printer platform, a pull-out keyboard tray, a pencil drawer, and file cabinet with rails for hanging folders. One shelf of the bookcase is fixed while the other three are adjustable. Baseboard continuous with that in the room.

These are the Before and After photos of a home in much need of an update not only ascetically but functionality as well. This project folder contains content of a remarkable transformation and is another awesome collaboration between Inside Style and ONE eleven ltd. This is what happens when pairing great minds, with persistence and attention to detail. You get a home that when you pull up to it, you are awestruck, and when you walk through that front door, you are awe inspired!

We turned an attic into a writer's garret. Honey-toned wood floors combine with warm gray wainscoting to make for an appealing space. Sconces by Portland's own Cedar & Moss. A live-edge wall-to-wall walnut wood desk provides ample room for writing, and mapping out research and story materials. Custom file folder and shelves tuck underneath. A large built-in bookcase turns one half of the attic in to a library and reading room. Photos by Laurie Black.

“I want mid-century modern, but livable.” The homeowner was an architect herself, so this project came with high expectations and a very specific vision. She’d been sketching ideas for months, and when we finally sat down together, she handed us a folder full of reference images—all clean lines, warm wood, and that perfect balance between minimalism and comfort.
What we created exceeded even her expectations.
The kitchen embodies understated sophistication with horizontal-grain walnut cabinets that wrap three walls in warm, organic beauty. We designed them as flat-panel, slab-front doors—no fussy details, just pure material honesty. The upper cabinets sit flush against the ceiling, maximizing storage while maintaining those clean modernist lines.
The island became the functional heart of the space—topped with crisp white quartz that provides contrast against all that rich wood. It’s sized perfectly for quick breakfast with a barstool, but doesn’t overwhelm the compact footprint. That white subway tile backsplash keeps things classic and bright, while polished concrete floors ground everything with industrial-cool texture.
Technically, this renovation required opening up the space to create better flow. We removed a wall section (you can see that dramatic archway leading from the living area) and installed a steel beam to maintain structural support. The new layout connects seamlessly to the backyard through those floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors—very California indoor-outdoor living.
The vaulted ceiling with skylights was already there, but we added recessed LED lighting to ensure the workspace stays bright even on overcast days. All new electrical, upgraded plumbing, and a ventilation system hidden behind that streamlined range hood.
