Tradition Trail is lined with towering mature palms; you’re taken by that indefinable sense of place. You’ll find that same feeling in the curve of a proudly manicured green, in the warmth of a gracious welcome, in the sense of all that endures. Perhaps as no other private community in the desert, Tradition Golf Club remains true to the ideals of ultra-exclusivity and understated elegance. There is a blend of Spanish Revival, Early California and Mediterranean architecture. My Client's second home forfeits none of the grace and charm of the exterior as it leans towards a modern palm desert aesthetic and comfortable interior. Clean lines, expansive glass and a bright color palette create a stunning visual transition from room to room. Bright colored fabrics reflecting the sky and landscape are used throughout the home. Bold design features like large scaled wallpaper are seen in the both the Dining Room & Master bedroom. The powder bath is completely covered in a beaded wallpaper making it a truly exceptional experience. There is a play with light and the patterns it creates through the custom decorative light fixtures. The artwork was curated by LJLdesigns from San Francisco, Los Angeles and local artists in Pam Springs. A hanging sculpture in the entry niche and a rayon thread 3D art greet you as you enter their home.

Design/Build Consultant—Jonah Smith Project Manager — Drew Johnston Photography — Alyssa Lee The homeowners of this 1940’s craftsmen bungalow loved the charm of their home but not the cramped layout or the freezer like conditions each winter brought to the poorly insulated space. What they really wanted was a complete kitchen makeover, doubling the working surface area of the kitchen without forfeiting period details, especially the ogee archway. We estimate between 500 and 600 people visited our craftsman kitchen remodel as part of the 2016 Spring Remodelers Showcase Home Tour! Thank you to all who attended and for those of you who showed interest in our design/build capabilities, we look forward to meeting with you soon.

Lying 100 miles southeast of Los Angeles between three gently- mountain ranges, Coachella Valley has long been an ideal winter retreat, providing breathtaking views, dramatic desert sunsets and 350 days of sun. Among the various towns scattered throughout the region, La Quinta is considered the hidden gem. Discovery Land Company’s intimate Madison Club in La Quinta is also known as the crown jewel of their exclusive family lifestyle clubs. With its Mizner inspired Spanish architecture and understated luxury, its meticulous attention to detail is in the tradition of California’s classic old-line country clubs. This gorgeous property continues to attract a clientele of Hollywood A-Listers, almost a century after the area was first discovered as a tinsel-town getaway in the 1920’s. With a focus on modern functionality, our client’s second home forfeits none of the grace and charm of the exterior as it leans towards an elegantly casual and comfortable interior. Clean lines and a soothing color palette allow an easy visual transition from room to room.

Inspiration for a rustic brown one-story wood gable roof remodel in Seattle

These Rotator Rod customers wanted to expand the shower space in their master bathroom without knocking down walls or losing any of their already small bathroom space. The Rotator Rod is the original curved shower rod that rotates. It's curved design instantly gives you a luxuriously large shower like in all the major hotels. After showering, simply flip the Rotator Rod shower rod into the tub -- and out of your way -- while you use the rest of the bathroom! The Rotator Rod is the only bathroom invention that expands shower space by 33% without forfeiting any bathroom space. Here, the Rotator Rod is flipped into the shower so they don't bump into the shower curtain while they're using the bathroom. Their bathroom maybe small but the light blue walls, trendy subway tile, and white wainscoting create a luxurious and tranquil atmosphere. Pair that with the flexible space the Rotator Rod provides and I bet they start the day feeling relaxed and unstoppable!

This is an organic Lime Wash done with a true lime wash product as opposed to a brick mortar or concrete that is often seen on new houses. This product can be applied as a solid coating making the surface completely white, or can be applied and "washed off" in many artistic ways, as seen here. If you hate your brick or just want something unique this is a great option! Photo credit: Jeff Murrey

This Rotator Rod customer wanted to expand the shower space in their guest bathroom without knocking down walls or losing any of their already small bathroom space. The bathroom felt uncomfortably small with its old, straight shower rod but is not used very frequently. The customer was looking for a quick and cost effective way to save space for holiday guests. The Rotator Rod is the original curved shower rod that rotates. It's curved design instantly gives you a luxuriously large shower like in all the major hotels. This photo helps illustrate how much shower space -- and bathroom space -- you gain with the original curved shower rod that rotates! White the Rotator Rod is in the "in" position, the shower curtain hangs into and against the shower instead of on top of the toilet. The narrow towel bar is another great space-saving idea and the tropical shower curtain also helps brighten up the small space!
