Moondust by Jon Allen - JAC 138 The Jon Allen Collection is an exclusive, hand-selected group of my most personal work to date. Each piece is hand-painted on aluminum. My art itself and my chosen medium, aluminum, are blissfully married. You may not think of the word organic when you hear the word metal, but this is some of my most organic art and that’s simply because metal allows my work to achieve true sentience. Aluminum’s naturally reflective nature enables each color, shape, and stroke to reach its full potential. A new aspect of the painting will reveal itself to you as it basks in the light that surrounds, evades, or envelops it in that moment. When you see the piece from different angles, you will appreciate how vibrant, dynamic, and environmentally influenced these pieces are. What you may see and feel by morning is not what you’ll see or feel by dusk and in many ways, and as such I feel these pieces capture the ever-ebbing and complex nature of human emotion and perception. Some of these pieces are truly abstract while others are modern takes on traditional landscapes, marine life, and portraits. I hope you enjoy them a fraction of how much I enjoyed creating them. A true challenge...This property had fallen out of escrow several times before it became our residence. Apparently, know one knew what to do with this 1954 California ranch. After several months, my former partner and I decided to blend my favorite "craftsman" and his "clean modern" elements together. Always listen to the home, consider it a type of architectural dance and the home will lead you. Strong use of horizontal warm native redwoods contrasting smooth exterior stucco. Water elements that greet you at the entrance and reappear in the geometrically inspired rear garden. This was personally, one of my favorite projects.

Bathroom - traditional subway tile vinyl floor bathroom idea

We felt privileged to build several beautiful pieces that went into an amazing home that Alicia Jonik of Tracy Lynn Studios brought to life. This particular piece was designed to house the client's media equipment while simultaneously creating a nice window seating space in a nook of the room. The feel of the design is a wonderful mix of contemporary and transitional. The metal Grecian screen on the doors is a nice detail that allows remotes to easily access devices inside the the case while simultaneously neatly concealing the console's contents. The doors are framed with an elegant bead molding to give the cabinet it's lovely transitional feel. The crystal pulls are a wonderful accent against the clean white background. The case is constructed on maple hardwood to ensure longevity and shown in a natural finish on the inside of the case. The small chamfered edge between the feet of the piece is the last cue to anyone who is looking that a lot of thought and care went into the construction of this piece. We feel so lucky to work with great designers and great clients to create amazing piece!

Bathroom - modern bathroom idea

Antique European hemp stripe linen pillows Custom-made by Full Bloom Cottage, the fronts are a natural and deep indigo stripe hemp from Europe, the backs are a coordinating French linen, with hidden zipper closures. A down feather insert is included.Only 1 pillow available. Size 22 x 22.

To transform the original 4.5 Ft wide one-sided closet into a spacious Master Walk-in Closet, the adjoining rooms were assessed and a plan set in place to give space to the new Master Closet without detriment to the adjoining rooms. Opening out the space allowed for custom closed cabinetry and custom open organizers to flank walls and maximize the storage opportunities. The lighting was immensely upgraded with LED recessed and a stunning centre fixture, all on separate controllable dimmers. A glamorous palette of chocolates, plum, gray and twinkling chrome set the tone of this elegant Master Closet. Photography by the talented Nicole Aubrey Photography
