This is the color scheme the homeowner chose. A dark bold color compliments the yellow brick and the features are conservatively accented. Most go overboard here and you need to know what you can and can't accent or it will look tacky.

Original red brick was replaced with stone. All windows were replaced. Front window was changed to a box bay window. Solid wood door with painted finish and side lights with fretwork help add a traditional charm. Carriage style garage doors were also added. Solid bronze hardware on all doors and lighting adds a timeless elegance. Originally a standard builder home is transformed to a custom elegant style.

The new kitchen (former garage) and mud room entry (former kitchen) are teeming with details: a custom copper hood, antiqued mirror & fretwork on the refrigerator (a nod to the home’s Tudor origins), paneled appliances, and a heated porcelain tile floor with faux bois in a herringbone pattern - functional and beautiful at the same time!

The dining room was painted a serene blue paint and featured a stunning triptych of a peacock. An elegant dining table and chairs, along with a stylish console, were added to enhance the space. Custom window treatments complemented the decor, while a fretwork patterned wallpaper on the ceiling added a unique touch.
