Artificial turf installation between pavers in the backyard, Auburn, CA
This is an example of a landscaping in Sacramento.

The front areas of this landscape were transformed from a tired, water thirsty lawn into a contemporary setting with dramatic concrete pavers leading to the home's entrance and a new driveway using large concrete slabs with small black pebbles set in resin. A Japanese Maple surrounded by mondo grass and pebbles soften the hardscaping. Elfin thyme was planted between the pavers to the entrance. An empty lot that was planned from the beginning, with the collaboration of the architect, to maximize the garden space by placing the L-shaped house in one of the corners allowing for every room to have a view of the expansive garden united by a swimming pool. The property was designed to be an escape to the tropics. By adding grass between each concrete paver, we combined the clean lines of the modern home and softened those lines with the greenery between each paver.
