Pure Character The traditional home commanded a traditional pool in the small space. Balancing pool space, walkways, and planting space was a challenge. The client also wanted a focal point at the end of the downward sloping yard, so a 24” high wall along the fence allowed a level pool, raised patio and a raised water wall. Minimal sound was required due to the small space and the stair stepped lueders water wall provided the ideal solution. Flanked by raised columns of matching house brick capped with grand effects fire bowls visual interest was provided day and night. White precast accented the coping, step treads and wall caps. Silver travertine paving complemented the existing bluestone porch. The raised patio provided space for lounge chairs and left enough space for the Italian cypress screen. Planting also softens the property fence and vines were planted to soften the house wall. This pool provides the balance of fun and function in this small space.

This total renovation consisted of removing an old automatic pool cover, coping, and tile. The pool was replastered with Luna Quartz, Bermuda finish from WetEdge Technogolies. Outdated tile was replaced with 1"x2" Glass tile, and old concrete coping was upgraded with Grecian Noce Travertine. The pool deck was replaced with porcelain pavers by Bella Terra Landscaping. Installation of a modern ladder and handrail give this traditional pool a more contemporary look.

Miami Beach flair on a true Canadian concrete spa. Our client was looking for the ultimate entertaining spot with seating for 10 people. The spa is 7 x 12 ft with a custom mosaic in the client's favourite colours. The steps and coping are actually hand finished imported stone called "rainbow". The addition of the acrylic glass wall gives this spa a WOW factor! This spa has the added benefit of a custom spa cover that will help to keep heating costs down.
