Inspired by antique lighting, this series recalls turn-of-the-century design where simple aesthetics and mechanical function combined to create charming, yet versatile fixtures. These classic pull-downs have a decorative weight that counterbalances the fixture for easy height adjustability anytime by simply pulling down or lifting up on the fixture.

This existing client reached out to MMI Design for help shortly after the flood waters of Harvey subsided. Her home was ravaged by 5 feet of water throughout the first floor. What had been this client's long-term dream renovation became a reality, turning the nightmare of Harvey's wrath into one of the loveliest homes designed to date by MMI. We led the team to transform this home into a showplace. Our work included a complete redesign of her kitchen and family room, master bathroom, two powders, butler's pantry, and a large living room. MMI designed all millwork and cabinetry, adjusted the floor plans in various rooms, and assisted the client with all material specifications and furnishings selections. Returning these clients to their beautiful '"new" home is one of MMI's proudest moments!

Our Del Sol Dining Table will be a stand out in any setting, and will bring that edgy Industrial quality to your dining area in a grand way. The dark metal base supports a spacious natural wood tone top, which has an intricate starburst pattern radiating from an offset center. And for a surprising twist, this marvel of a table has a working crank that will allow you to adjust the height to fit your space, and your needs.

Sophisticated design of the Axor Citterio E Thermostatic 2-Function Trim Module makes showering easier: The diverter handle, featuring clear symbols, to intuitively control the outlets and the iconic cross handle to conveniently control the water volume. The water temperature is regulated via the cylindrical thermostatic handle. The ergonomic holder of the wallbar with double railing provides for easy height adjustment of the handshower.

We gave this large kitchen a completely new look! We brought the style up-to-date and added in some much needed counter space and storage. We loved the quirky charm of the original design, so we made to sure to keep it's unique style very much a part of the new design through the use of mixed materials. Artisanal hand-made floating shelves (made out of old barn wood) along with the exposed wooden beams create a soft but powerful statement -- warm and earthy but strikingly trendy. The rich woods from the floating shelves and height-adjustable pull-out pantry contrast beautifully with the glistening glass cabinets, which offer the perfect place to show off their stunning glassware.
By installing new countertops, cabinets, and a peninsula, we were able to drastically improve the amount of workspace. The peninsula offers a place to dine, work, or even use as a buffet - just the kind of functionality and versatility our clients were looking for.
The marble backsplash and stainless steel work table add a subtle touch of modernism, that blends extremely well with the more rustic elements. Also, the stainless steel table was the perfect solution for a make-shift island since this older kitchen did not have the typical width that is needed to add a built-in island (plus, it can easily be moved to fit the needs of the homeowners!).
Other features include a brand new exhaust fan, which wasn't included in the original design, and entire leveling of the new hardwood floors, which were previously sinking down almost a foot from one side of the space to the other.

Master bathroom doubles as teenagers bathroom. This light and airy bathroom has a subtle underwater theme using Ann Sack glass tiles matte penny mosaic and 12" x 6" gloss tile and Heath Ceramic overstock tile on the floor to provide a sand like bottom. Lots of extras including plenty of towel/robe hooks, towel bars, teak floor mat and vanity, with a gray granite countertop. Extra faucet with hose and floor drain aids in any clean-up job. The fiberglass tub was recycled to give a transitional look for this contemporary underwater bathroom theme. Hand held shower head on sliding rail makes for easy clean-up in bathroom and height adjustment for growing teenagers.
