In the living room, Brueton chairs from E.G. Cody with Bergamo's woven-silk inserts from Donghia surround the sunken bar. An untitled oil on canvas by T.W., Curtis hangs on the wall above. In the adjacent dining room, a contemporary "Sputnik" light fixture from Eurofase illuminates a grouping of authentically licensed Frank Lloyd Wright furnishings from Copeland Furniture.

This bed was overrun with mugwort which is almost impossible to eliminate. Three different climbing rose cultivars were planted against some decorative trellises. The client liked roses. Some 'summer beauty' allium and short perennial grasses were added in the foreground.

Clent expressed a desire to use their outdoor fireplace year round-impossible in our climate. Instead we illuminated the fireplace in a way that brought them closer to the warmth of this outdoor experience, even while inside during winter

Most downtown city backyards are "petite" to say the least! However, nothing is impossible! These urbanites wanted to ensure that this small footprint was utilized to its best potential while adding the joy of water. This particular home is a semi-detached with a back patio and walkway to their private garage. This year round concrete spa is a wonderful place to enjoy in all seasons! It can be kept at pool temperatures for summer enjoyment or turned up to enjoy as a spa throughout the seasons. An autocover (as pictured) helps to keep the spa clean as well as reducing temperature loss. The wood decking and the beautiful coping surround allow for lots of extra seating when needed. We chose American Cherry for the music room because its naturally variant hues add a rustic charm to the space. When you reflect on timeless furniture designs, it’s impossible not to include a shout out to the mid-century modern movement. With silhouettes that are just as popular now as they were back in the 1950s and 60s, it’s safe to say that this minimalist aesthetic is here to stay. The Sebastian collection is a prime example of why. Propped up on lofty legs, the pieces are utterly suave and sleek, and the details are eternally sophisticated.

BeachHaus is built on a previously developed site on Siesta Key. It sits directly on the bay but has Gulf views from the upper floor and roof deck. The client loved the old Florida cracker beach houses that are harder and harder to find these days. They loved the exposed roof joists, ship lap ceilings, light colored surfaces and inviting and durable materials. Given the risk of hurricanes, building those homes in these areas is not only disingenuous it is impossible. Instead, we focused on building the new era of beach houses; fully elevated to comfy with FEMA requirements, exposed concrete beams, long eaves to shade windows, coralina stone cladding, ship lap ceilings, and white oak and terrazzo flooring. We love this kitchen too! This is custom cabinetry with inset construction done to perfection. Maple cabinets painted white while the island is cherry with a dark rich stain. Scale and function are impossible to ignore. The glass door cabinets with the X mullion and the plate rack make this a simple elegance that everyone would love.
