When working with small spaces, especially a galley kitchen it is important to achieve a nice proportion of light and dark elements. A dark porcelain floor was selected for its functional and maintenance free properties. Conscious of the fact that we didn't want to create a visually small space by adding more dark components, white shaker style cabinets were selected, along with white appliances and white stone counter top. In order to create a design connection to the floor and create some visual interest, a black linear strip of tile runs along the back-splash with a field of white 3x6 tile.

We created this office in an exclusive home in the Lansdowne community located near Leesburg Virginia. This room is right off of the main entrance. Everything was changed starting with the hard wood floor color. We added custom ceiling quarter sawn oak beams and the ceiling chandelier after having the room painted a soft grey. Later the new desk and chair anchor the room which can later convert to a temporary guest suite because the tufted back sleeper sofa. This outdoor kitchen has all of the amenities you could ever ask for in an outdoor space! The all weather Nature Kast cabinets are built to last a lifetime! They will withstand UV exposure, wind, rain, heat, or snow! The louver doors are beautiful and have the Weathered Graphite finish applied. All of the client's high end appliances were carefully planned to maintain functionality and optimal storage for all of their cooking needs. The curved egg grill cabinet is a highlight of this kitchen. Also included in this kitchen are a sink, waste basket pullout, double gas burner, kegerator cabinet, under counter refrigeration, and even a warming drawer. The appliances are by Lynx. The egg is a Kamado Joe, and the Nature Kast cabinets complete this space!

The dramatic front door made of African Mahogany is a custom component incorporated in the Clearview project. The Brown Studio, Inc. an architectural and interior design + build firm, and partner with dasMOD, offers a hand-crafted approach through their design studio and fabrication workshop.
