Our design team created a concept of a “Water-wise Tropical Paradise”, bursting with color, shiny textures, lush foliage, and small palm tree varieties. Turf was converted to garden beds, and low-volume, low-pressure drip irrigation was installed.

Sometimes, as shown here, we also use permeable pavers to ensure we capture sufficient rainwater to maintain the landscape — as well as allow clients to wash their cars and/or hose down their deck and patio.
And when you consider that local Long island water companies frequently charge an incremental rate, based on the amount of water used, capturing all the non-ingestive water you need from rainfall, the lower your rate will be.

These young hip professional clients love to travel and wanted a home where they could showcase the items that they've collected abroad. Their fun and vibrant personalities are expressed in every inch of the space, which was personalized down to the smallest details. Just like they are up for adventure in life, they were up for for adventure in the design and the outcome was truly one-of-kind.

the generous oak dining table is centered between a black, stone-topped, ridged credenza and a fireplace with a long built-in bench. the matching chairs from the game table in the living room can be pulled in for extra seating at the dining table. a vibrant painting by jessica magee hangs above the credenza and brings bold warmth into the space.

Black ceramic planters containing privet standards and festive annuals flank the stone patio stairs leading from a wrought iron railed outdoor eating area to a formal gravel path. Colorful garden beds are bordered by English boxwood in classic Arts and Crafts style.
