It’s #transformationtuesday which means we are sharing before and after photos of a #stairrunner project our installation team completed recently!
We interviewed the homeowner to learn more about how she discovered us and why she selected the style she chose for her stair runner! Here are is the response!
“I found you on Instagram from Candace of House of Paige (@_houseofpaige_)and also have seen Brenna Smith of Hope and Bay Design (@hopeandbay) go there too. You guys were local and I loved your instagram page - it was super easy to find inspiration ideas so I knew I needed to reach out.
We have two dogs and a toddler (with another baby on the way!) so we wanted something that would be durable but would match our style a bit more! We did Oil Nut Bay in Charcoal.
From my first visit to your work room to working with Billy over email, you made the process so easy! I really appreciated the honest feedback and opinions on the different styles we liked and if it would fit our lifestyle with dogs and kids at home. We must have had a dozen samples sent to us over the 2 months we worked together and it was just so easy to work with you virtually. We are so happy with the final product :)”
We thank every single one of you for sharing your story and experience with us at The Carpet Workroom!

Situated along the perimeter of the property, this unique home creates a continuous street wall, both preserving plenty of open yard space and maintaining privacy from the prominent street corner. A one-story mudroom connects the garage to the house at the rear of the lot which required a local zoning variance. The resulting L-shaped plan and the central location of a glass-enclosed stair allow natural light to enter the home from multiple sides of nearly every room. The Arts & Crafts inspired detailing creates a familiar yet unique facade that is sympathetic to the character and scale of the neighborhood. A chevron pattern is a key design element on the window bays and doors and continues inside throughout the interior of the home.

Just like single family homes, condos are also in constant need of updating in order to keep up with today’s growing real estate market. Baby-boomers and young professionals alike are now more than ever searching for that perfect place to call home but without all of the maintenance and upkeep. With this in mind, our client came to Red House to have her 2-story condo, located in the heart of downtown Providence, remodeled.
Originally from Manila, this young doctor wanted a more open feel in her stairwell leading up to the second-floor hallway in addition to creating a more contemporary feel in her guest bathroom.

This previously unused attic space is now a sauna/yoga room. The left sauna wall follows the attic rafters down diagonally to allow a wider space for leg room on the twin sauna benches.

This custom home project is being built from the ground up. We are tearing down a 2600sqft bungalow and will be building a 4000sqft 3 story home in its place. The design and style of this home will have a modern contemporary feel with an LA vibe. Our client enjoys simplicity and rich subtle details with a warm airy palette. Follow us on Instagram @luxeco_studio and see the progress once we break ground.

Step: 6 — Once that final protective coat is dry (it typically takes about four hours), you’re safe to remove the tape and admire your work. Et voila! A whole new look, with not a single new tile put down.
