If you need some motivation to start your day, hang this in your bedroom so it’s the first thing you see when you wake up every day. Or, consider hanging it in your office, above your desk, or wherever else you need motivation and a reminder to make the most of your day. Though simple message, the style of the lettering is fun, airy and somewhat whimsical, making this a more interesting piece than many other typographic wall arts. The simple black and white color scheme works well with any existing interior design elements and will stand out against any wall color, making this a great choice for any room of your house. Harbor View is a modern-day interpretation of the shingled vacation houses of its seaside community. The gambrel roof, horizontal, ground-hugging emphasis, and feeling of simplicity, are all part of the character of the place.
While fitting in with local traditions, Harbor View is meant for modern living. The kitchen is a central gathering spot, open to the main combined living/dining room and to the waterside porch. One easily moves between indoors and outdoors.
The house is designed for an active family, a couple with three grown children and a growing number of grandchildren. It is zoned so that the whole family can be there together but retain privacy. Living, dining, kitchen, library, and porch occupy the center of the main floor. One-story wings on each side house two bedrooms and bathrooms apiece, and two more bedrooms and bathrooms and a study occupy the second floor of the central block. The house is mostly one room deep, allowing cross breezes and light from both sides.
The porch, a third of which is screened, is a main dining and living space, with a stone fireplace offering a cozy place to gather on summer evenings.
A barn with a loft provides storage for a car or boat off-season and serves as a big space for projects or parties in summer.

Replacing an Old World style space, we created a new elegant wine room with farmhouse elements coupled with our interpretation of modern European detailing. Beginning with white inset base cabinetry, we designed the matte black upper cabinet with warm oak interior and integrated lighting to bring warmth and interest to the space. Our custom built and lighted bottle shelf is placed in front of beveled mirror tiles over Cambria Minera counters to bring the bling this space deserves! Another beautiful space to share and create memories.

A modern, bright and white galley kitchen with large wooden island and a tile backsplash wall. The pantry and sink are to the side, making the kitchen a place for the family to spend.
A new interpretation of utilitarian farm structures. This mountain modern home sits in the foothills of North Carolina and brings a distinctly modern element to a rural working farm. It got its name because it was built to structurally support a series of hammocks that can be hung when the homeowners family comes for extended stays biannually. The hammocks can easily be taken down or moved to a different location and allows the home to hold many people comfortably under one roof.

The powder room of the Custom River House certainly makes a statement. The sink is actually an antique washing machine that the homeowner purchased and wanted converted for this bathroom. A floor-to-ceiling mirror sits atop the 7" bluestone base board and is backlit with LED lighting on both sides and the top. A small glass ledge hangs just above the sink, where the Sonoma Forge faucet sits. The steel screen that separates the sink and toilet was custom fabricated by Seattle based artist Kirk Albert.

Completed in 2015, this project incorporates a Scandinavian vibe to enhance the modern architecture and farmhouse details. The vision was to create a balanced and consistent design to reflect clean lines and subtle rustic details, which creates a calm sanctuary. The whole home is not based on a design aesthetic, but rather how someone wants to feel in a space, specifically the feeling of being cozy, calm, and clean. This home is an interpretation of modern design without focusing on one specific genre; it boasts a midcentury master bedroom, stark and minimal bathrooms, an office that doubles as a music den, and modern open concept on the first floor. It’s the winner of the 2017 design award from the Austin Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and has been on the Tribeza Home Tour; in addition to being published in numerous magazines such as on the cover of Austin Home as well as Dwell Magazine, the cover of Seasonal Living Magazine, Tribeza, Rue Daily, HGTV, Hunker Home, and other international publications.

Four years ago, we began the design process of the main house to align with the owner's retirement and move back to the Seattle area from Chicago in 2015.
Although the Boathouse and Carriage house are more Pacific Northwest shingle in character, this time around the owners wanted a modern interpretation for the main house. Now in 2016 - 10 years later - they are settled in and their little "compound" has become the family gathering place for their three grown sons, their wives, and the owner's grandchildren.
The main house is a contemporary interpretation of Northwest Regionalism in which dramatic waterfront conditions are complemented with aesthetic consideration of massing, materials and the embracing of natural light.
The interior spaces are highlighted in marble, steel, walnut, Sapele and limestone finishes.

The reclaimed brick façade with limestone accents, steel windows and slate roof create a timeless aesthetic that blends harmoniously into the college town historic district where this home is located. The English Arts and Crafts inspired design gives the it a unique style and presence in the streetscape.
